Pros: A very peaceful spot just a few steps from the market and a stroll away from the sights. The room was large and quiet, the staff friendly, and the breakfast had plenty of choices.

Cons: A reading lamp or overhead lamp would have allowed me to read in the armchair.

Great stay in Palermo.

Pros: A very nice hotel in an excellent position to major sights of Palermo.

Cons: The bathroom and shower could be renovated to match the other excellent aspects of the hotel.

New Experience s

Pros: It’s your typical European type breakfast. Nothing cooked, like bacon or scrambled eggs but there are hard boiled eggs, cold cuts, cakes, juices but no orange juice

Cons: I can not find a nice cup of coffee anywhere in Italy. Just shocking

Really friendly, helpful people in well located, pretty hotel.

Pros: Really helpful, friendly staff at reception and restaurant. Great location, breakfast was simple but very good and dinner was really good. Great, central location.

Cons: Can’t think of anything.

Great value and well located

Pros: Wonderful location. Great breakfast, and friendly staff. Pretty courtyard out the back. Bathroom and room were spotlessly clean.

Cons: We asked the hotel to order us a taxi to go to a hire car place when we checked out. The taxi driver charged us 25 euros for a 2.5km journey! We suspect it was a tourist rip off by the driver rather than the hotel, but check with the hotel about rates if they order you a taxi!

Pros: The bathroom was private and in good condition. The whole place was spotless, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The air conditioning worked perfectly, making the stay very pleasant.

Cons: The bed was a bit uncomfortable, as the springs could be felt underneath. The bathroom lighting was poor and not suitable for shaving. The Wi-Fi signal was weak and often slow.

Pros: The hotel was lovely and comfortable and so close to everything but at the same time tucked away in a quiet corner. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Fully recommend

Nice, I would probably consider the hotel again, but ask the right questions... (not room B1)

Pros: Nice renovation of an old building complex. Very picturesque. Extremely well positioned to visit all the key sites in Palermo. Everything is within a short walk. Staff was great.

Cons: Wi-fi quality was very poor in room B1. This is kind of unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. I could not watch a movie on sky on my tablet. The image kept freezing. I had to hotspot my cell phone, then I had no problems. Another thing that I think should be pointed out beforehand is that B1 is almost inaccessible to old people, or overweight people etc. The staircase is hard to negotiate even for healthy folks. When I booked I should have been forewarned. It was not a big problem for me and my son, but I personally felt I needed to go up and down exercising extreme care. Transporting any sizeable suitcase up and down is out of the question, concierge is 100% needed. I understand these are rooms obtained within an old building and there were limitations on how to build the staircase. But while B1 could be kind of a nice love nest for a young couple, it would be completely unsuitable for elderly people.
