Pros: Major work was in progress during my stay. I expect the hotel will be very attractive when the work is complete.

Cons: Tje disruption.

Pros: It is an old, simple hotel with soul and lovely staff. In the old city, just outside the door, is the lively market that operates every day.

Cons: Noise from outside in the night

A comfortable week in Palermo

Pros: The location, an historical building in the old town, was perfect for accessing the local University campus and the city center. The room was quiet at night and with a comfortable bed. The continental breakfast was a good start for the day.

Pros: Lovely cute hotel, run by a nice Italian family, so you instantly feel like home. Very clean and comfortable. Typical Italian breakfast with croissants and jam. Good location near the attractions of the historic center.

Cons: There was a water leak at the toilet.

Pros: Location, close to many of the things we wanted to see, not far from the bus and rail stations.. Very clean quiet room, plenty of hot water for washing. Amazing variety of breads and pastries for breakfast. Friendly staff.

Cons: Very small shower/bathroom. Ineffective shower curtain, difficult to keep the floor from getting wet and slippery. We used one of the towels as a bathmat.
