Good for a short stay in Palermo.
Pros: The Hotel is immediately outside the Palermo Centrale railway station. The breakfast was served in the adjacent Cafe, which appears to be part of the same establishment, and comprised of a typically Italian buffet of cold food.
Cons: The rooms are all up some fairly steep stairs so it might not be suitable for those who have difficulty walking.

Pros: Practical location for visiting old center...and close to train and bus station for onward travel
Cons: The area around the hotel is a bit decrepit...some garbage lying around a many buildings seemingly in serious need of TLC

Good value for money and practical location.
Pros: The location is very comfortable - right next to the train station. It's also not as rough as I expected. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, and the room was large and even had two (!) nice balconies. Overall, at the price we were offered, it was very good value for money, and I am happy to recommend this hotel.
Cons: The hotel is supposed to be a 4*, but it clearly is not by the standards of most countries (and of most cities in Italy). That said, it still offers very good value for money, so as long as your expectations are not tied with the 4* rating, you will likely be satisfied. The only real minus is the breakfast, which is truly disappointing. If we are applying star ratings, it would be what you would expect from a 2* property.

Cons: After staying at the hotel, I sent a message asking for letters confirming stays and prices for 3 separate rooms that I reserved, but my message was just ignored.

Perfect for transport links
Pros: Great location for a one night stay for bus connections. Staff all friendly and helpful

Perfect stay in perfect location with a perfect view!
Pros: Hotel is near to the train station but is calm and quiet there. It was very clean inside, bed was very comfortable and there is AC. Breakfast served at the hotel was very diverse and tasty.
Cons: WiFi was not working but it was not huge issue for us.

Good location for early morning departure to airport
Pros: Perfect for an early morning bus to airport, 100 metres from the bus, was clean and met our needs for suitable accomodation. We dropped bags off at 10am and explored Palermo and checked in after 3. We did not get to see breakfast as we left early but 24 hour reception was encouraging. Made check out easy.
Cons: Just note apart from a fridge there is nothing in the room, coffee, glasses etc.

a very convenient location
Pros: it is a very simple but overall good hotel where to spend a night if you need to catch an early train/bus, as it is at 2 minutes walking from the train/bus station. the breakfast is good and complete
