Astoria Palace Hotel

Pros: The staff is really nice and friendly and they do their best to make your stay pleasant. I appreciate the parking (kind of expensive but at least you find a spot at every hour and your car is safe). Breakfast is also fine, they have a lot of sweet options (croissants, cakes, donuts, cannoli, etc). Room is spacious and the matress was confortable.

Cons: I hated the bathroom, I cannot understand why they don't do an effort to change the faucets and other sanittary fittings. Our bathtub had a drainage full of rust. It was disgusting honestly.

Good value

Pros: We stayed at the hotel for one night and, although we left early and didn’t have the opportunity to use the facilities, our stay was very pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable, and both check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Overall, the hotel offers good value for money, and we would gladly choose it again for a short stay.

Very good standard and a good location.

Pros: Big spacious rooms, bathroom clean and spacious, all things needed for a good stay. Location is 30 mins walk to the center, or bus stopping just around the corner (tickets you buy at Tabacheria stores). Lot of places / cafes just nearby. Quiet place and nice view to the city from high floor. Parking is 12 Euro per day.

Cons: I thought parking is free for guests.

Pros: Efficient check in Good breakfast but disappointing to see a coffee this using only instant coffee, no beans. In Italy. Ok, you can order a proper coffe, but still. Good parking for my motorbike. Costs 12 euro but has a roof and elevator to reception

Cons: My room had 24 degr on arrival. AC system turned off(ok, it is november). After a night with window open it was still 23. Not a good nights sleep.

Pros: Parking facilities. Good breakfast and kind waiters

Cons: Lightning in the room . Not enough light

Pros: The reception staff were lovely and friendly. Joseph in particular was extremely helpful. Room was great size as was bathroom. Bed very comfortable. Bar staff were pleasant although when so many tour groups coming in a better knowledge of English would help. See some reviews complain about rubbish on street outside hotel - seriously this is not the hotels fault - Palermo streets are filthy generally.

Cons: No kettle. Could have used more coat hangers. Bathroom could do with an upgrade. Restaurant staff were distant not sure if that was because I was English speaking or because I was coeliac but felt I didn't get the same attention as Italian speaking guests. Breakfast limited for coeliacs.

Pros: Staff is very nice and welcoming always helping you with everything. The rooms are very clean and nice. Also has a very good location.

The perfect place for tourists to stay

Pros: room was very spacious, fresh towels provided daily. Inclusive breakfast was fresh and delicious. Any concern you have with your room the receptionists will have it dealt with immediately.

Cons: I would have preferred if they had an inclusive lunch and dinner option
