Stepping back to a period of manners and respect

Pros: Extremely helpful staff and as the title says , it is a grand hotel . Breakfast catered for dietary requirements and felt welcoming and safe

Cons: Maybe position wasn’t the best , but only a short walk to highlights of Palermo

Live like a king for a few days!

Pros: The interior is breathtaking! You feel like a king in his palace! The small sauna room, which you have to reserve, was surprisingly good! The climate control there was perfect, and you can really make a proper Scandinavian sauna session. The breakfast was very good in variety and quality.

Cons: The noise of the traffic outside.... lots of motorcycles passing by making a lot of noise. Fortunately it's better after midnight. Otherwise it's a fantastic hotel!

Comfortable stay in a grand historic location, close to major attractions.

Pros: Breakfast was excellent except for the coffee. Very nice Bar, which stocked Punt e Mes. Room was large, and excellent value.

Cons: Room a little too hot sometimes.

Grand stay in Grand Wagner

Pros: Spacious room, beautifully decorated. Small balcony overlooking street. Window soundproofing helps as it is in a busy area. Close to old town to walk through. We took €6 commande e presto bus from airport. Bus stop is next to Politearma is only 5 mins walk. Excellent breakfast

Cons: €20 charge for fitness room with only two equipment pieces is excessive.

Great hotel enjoyed our stay, recommend opening the breakfast area up at night time for meals.

Pros: Friendly staff especially the porter Anthony, he showed us to our room and thoroughly explained everything in the room and very friendly polite and welcoming.

Cons: No restaurant for dinner only room service that lets hotel down.

Great hotel, good location and fantastic staff.

Pros: Beautifully decorated and great dining/breakfast and bar facilities crewed by a wonderful team. Hugely helpful people at the front desk too.

Cons: We hadn’t realised there would be a problem with mosquitoes at night, so had to keep the balcony door shut. That meant the room was very warm as there is no air conditioning at this time of year. This made sleeping comfortably difficult.
