Best of Palermo

Pros: The staff is extremely friendly and efficient. The hotel has an excellent location, with practically all attractions within walking distance. Breakfast is served in a beautiful hall and offers an exceptionally wide selection of quality dishes.

Cons: Although I was kindly upgraded to a junior suite, I was surprised by how small the room was. The bathroom in particular is very small. Unfortunately, my junior suite faced the facade, and I only saw what the weather was like when I left the hotel.

Pros: Great location just 3 min walk from the Teatro. Impressive buildings and lovely breakfast. Upstairs terrace has great views.

Cons: Rooms ok. Large and modern if a little soulless.

Beautiful but pricey stay in the heart of Palermo

Pros: This hotel is a real slice of Sicilian history and the owners have done an excellent job of keeping it looking magnificent. We loved the room which was on the corner and had doors out to small balconies, and the location was perfect. Breakfast buffet was good.. should have tried the champagne!

Cons: No pool was a let down.

Luxurious, historic hotel combining elegance with modern comforts

Pros: Breakfast is served in a sumptuous dining room, with a very wide range of dishes available. The dining/bar area on the roof top offers a tranquil space away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hotel oozes history but it also provides modern comforts in its spacious bedrooms. The hotel is very well located, just a stone's throw from the historic centre.

Cons: A more varied menu in the restaurant would be welcome, with more local specialities.

We loved the hotel, staff and relaxing on the terrace after a day out sightseeing.

Pros: We absolutely loved this hotel. The staff and attention to detail was of a very high standard, was a highlight of our overall trip. The staff were also extremely helpful in organising private tours and drivers.
