Lovely small palace in perfect location

Pros: This beautiful small palace has just a few guest rooms and you immediately feel like a family member. Our room was serviceable but not special--but the rest of the palace made this stay memorable. The staff are welcoming and helpful and eating breakfast in the formally set dining room is a pleasure. Perfect location--amazingly quiet rooms in the midst of the busiest area of Palermo.

Amazing high class residence in the best possible location in Palermo

Pros: The interior design is flawless, very eclectic, combining the old with the new, as this is an actual aristocratic residence belonging to a real Sicilian baron. But the true highlight of the stay are the services, the personnel is absolutely amazing, with special mentions to Federica and Darryl, who are beyond courteous and helpful. Also the breakfast is amazing, with fresh local products and the best espresso we have ever had in a hotel. And the location is perfect, in the middle of everything worth visiting in the historical center of Palermo. Not to mention you get a free tour of the actual palazzo rooms with explanations about the history thereof.

If you are planning to stay in Palermo, this hotel and apartment are absolutely ideal.

Pros: We had the 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment on the top floor. Located in the very centre of the old city of Palermo (a UNESCO world heritage site), the location was absolutely perfect. There were brilliant views down the historic Main Street from balconies off the master bedroom, living room, and dining room. The apartment was beautifully appointed with comfortable beds. Federica, our principal host, was exceptional in how well she looked after us. Anything we needed was immediately possible. Sara and Federica were both absolutely wonderful hosts!

Cons: Guests should be aware in advance that access to the top-floor apartment is via a long, steep set of stone stairs. It would not at all be recommended for small children or elderly patrons or anyone who might be unfit.

Excellent location and top notch service

Pros: Excellent and friendly staff. Perfect location near the tourist spots and lovely streets with cafes and restaurants. Very strong air conditioning in the room which is much needed during the hot summer season.

Cons: Breakfast offering can still be improved.

Fabulous palace in a great location

Pros: Beautiful building in a great location with incredibly helpful staff.

Cons: This is essentially a very stylish and classy B and B which we loved but do not book if you want hotel facilities like a bar or restaurant

Pros: A beautiful boutique hotel in an historic palazzo. Excellent central location. Comfortable, stylish rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had the most gorgeous roof terrace!

Cons: Breakfast was very nice but there was too much cake and not enough healthy cereal choice and I would have preferred more savoury foods.
