Backpackers House - Ballaró

Pros: The apartment is nice and comfortable. Location is close to city centre, right on the market. Parking is available.

Cons: This part of the town is loud, dirty and smelly, like many in Palermo, but it did not feel unsafe.

Unique stay in the heart of Palermo

Pros: The property is spectacular, spacious, and has wonderful and modern design details (made by the owner and by artists). Two balconies and a huge terrace where to spend the evening and chill. The location is interesting as well, really close to the famous Ballaro market, one of the best patisserie around the corner and the always-living neighbourhood. The host was incredibly helpful, with a detailed and friendly check-in. Always available for questions and requests. Offered us an experience more than a normal host-guest interaction.

Cons: Ideally, the facility of having 2 sets of keys would be really useful for groups.

Pros: Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Danile empfangen und gleich mit wertvollen Insider Tips versorgt. Das Apartment ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Desweiteren ist es sehr zentral, gleich am Bollero Market. Wir konnten die Stadt prima zu Fuß erkunden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Danke Danile, für diese tolle Zeit!🙏

Backpackerfeeling mitten in Palermo.

Pros: Wunderschön eingerichtetes Apartment in lebhaftem Viertel, am Rande des Ballarómarktes. Tolle Terrasse. Super Ausstattung, egal ob im Zimmer, im Bad oder in der Küche. Perfekte Lage um die Stadt zu erkunden. Danielle ist super sympathisch und hilfreich, auch die Nachbarn sind aufmerksam und sehr nett. Der Markt ist praktisch direkt um die Ecke, sowie auch Bäckerei, Supermarkt und co. Kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden, man muss nir wissen von welcher Seite man sich nähert.

Cons: Da ich mit einem älterrn Ehepaar unterwegs war, fiel das Augenmerk auch auf Bequemlichkeit, und da ist es dann etwas herausfordernd, da die Wohnung nur durch eine steile und enge Treppe erreichbar ist. Die Zimmer sind auf verschiedenen Etagen, ebenfalls über eine sehr steile Treppe erreichbar. Alles nicht so wild, aber für ältere etwas ungünstig, dennoch machbar. Und mitten im Altstadtviertel ist es eben etwas lebhaft, auch nachts und erst recht am Wochenende. Das sollte man bei der Lage bedenken. Autofahren in Palermo ist - abenteuerlich. Bloss nicht aus der Ruhe bringen lassen.. 😀

Pros: Sehr gute Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber und unproblematisches check-in/out. Sehr saubere Wohnung mit ausreichender Ausstattung. Sehr praktische, bequeme und sehr kreative Gestaltung der Innenräume. Man sollte wissen, worauf man sich einlässt, wenn man die Wohnung in der Gegend nimmt - es konnte für manche zu laut sein. Es ist erstaunlich viel Platz in der Wohnung, allerdings muss man erst eine steile Treppe zum 1. Geschoss schaffen :)

Pros: Appartement très agréable, très propre, très bien équipé et magnifiquement décoré. On a adoré la terrasse. Tout proche du centre historique, le marché Ballaro et très bonne pâtisserie juste à côté. Daniele est très accueillant. Chaleureux.
