Luxurious apartment in a really convenient location...

Pros: The apartment is spacious, beautifully decorated, really well equipped, and absolutely immaculate. It's on the 3rd floor ( with a lift) and feels very secure and quite luxurious. Super comfortable bed, spotless shower room, great lighting, huge kitchen with a great range of equipment, including a washing machine. Daniela met us at the building and was incredibly warm & friendly, providing local information and checking everything was OK on subsequent days. This place was wonderful. Vossia restaurant, as recommended by Daniela, is well worth a visit( we went twice). Another advantage is the proximity to the main railway station, thus allowing easy access to local coastal areas, Cefalu, and Palermo Airport. Nothing was too much trouble, and our stay was tremendous. Thank you, Daniela.

Cons: The area can feel quite rundown,and perhaps a little dark late at night. However, we felt perfectly happy and at ease.

Fantastic, adorable place and hosts

Pros: Everything was perfect! Daniela was such a lovely host. I travelled with my family, parents and brother. Daniela welcomed us with delicius surprise. There was enough of place for all of us, comfy beds, nice cosy decor, spacious rooms, adorable kitchen equipped with absolutely everything you might need when you travel, great area close to the train station and city centre. Il Rosticciere nearby has fantastic buns. We are so happy we stayed at La Casa di Filippo, totally recommend!

Good location, facilities and helpful host.

Pros: Excellent, clean facilities and extremely helpful host.

Cons: Some noise on bedroom side but only in the earlier evening with no impact on ability to sleep.

Pros: The hosts were lovely people and very friendly Location is great for seeing all the sights and for transport, train and bus.

Great stay

Pros: Close to train station. Wonderful large apartment with 4 rooms. Had a modern lift and thanks for the brekkie supplies

Cons: A little bit further to walk to markets etc, but chose this as was close to train station

Fantastic Apartment

Pros: We have stayed in over 76 vacation rentals and this was by far one of the best! The apartment is so comfortable and the lovely owners have thought of everything. Daniela was excellent with communication and there were losts of lovely surprises. The location is excellent, close to the market and an amazing bakery. We would highly recommend this apartment.

Wonderful stay, I would like to come back some day!

Pros: I liked everything I think: - apartment was very clean and spacious - beautiful interiors! - very cozy - felt like at home, owner though about every detail.. Even small soaps in the basket.. Or choice of tea, coffee and snacks in the kitchen 🤩 - quite good location, close to central station and the market - price vs conditions.

Cons: - I didn't feel completely safe roaming around after sunset. Always there were standing some people, who looked bit suspicious 😉

Pros: Great place, location, cleanliness, comfort, amenities and very thoughtful and attentive hosts. I highly recommend it!

A fantastic first trip to Palermo staying at La casa di Filippo with great hosts.

Pros: We had a whole flat for ourselves, much bigger than our own home. Tastefully furnished and full of light. Incredibly spacious rooms and with a Sicilian finish to the internal decor; big wardrobe, kitchen with all facilities and a big table. Daniela e Sebastiano and her family made us feel welcome and were available at all times to give us tips and info to enjoy our stay in Palermo. The property was immaculately clean. They welcomed us with a tray of dolci siciliani from the local pasticceria and a bottle of Grillo (typical Sicilian wine): what a start! The fridge was full of drinks and fresh fichi d’india to taste. Wi-fi and TV. Perfectly located for both train station and for the unmissable Mercato Ballarò (foodie heaven) and all the main tourist attractions in Palermo.
