Plenty to keep you occupied round and about

Pros: About 20 minutes walk North of the train station - don't bother with a car. Busy are with restaurants and market stalls but hotel is like a small oasis in the middle of it. Good breakfast, friendly staff

Cons: .

Lovely boutique hotel in a great location with friendly staff

Pros: Location was excellent, staff friendly and a treat to have a hot tub on our terrace.

Cons: Reception was busy and it took a while to check in as people were checking out. The pool are was laid up with tables for dining so not conducive to use the pool with no loungers in sight.

Lovely hotel in Palermo

Pros: Casa Nostra is a lovely small hotel just away from one of the busiest streets in Palermo. The rooms are very sizeable with lovely decor, v comfy beds and pillows. Breakfast was really nice with lots of options and can be had in the courtyard. We didn’t try the spa but booking seemed relatively easy - staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Cons: The pictures on booking.com are misleading with regard to the outdoor pool - there was no sunbeds at all there when we were there - just tables set up for eating etc, so if you plan somewhere where you want to relax with the pool bear this in mind! Because of the proximity to the centre of Palermo the outside noise is a little loud - plus the music from the restaurant downstairs and guests etc can be heard quite easily due to the open plan of the hotel.

Pros: The room is beautifully decorated and very cozy. Breakfast was excellent and varied. The location is perfect, right in the center, and close to all the attractions on foot. We had a great stay overall.

Cons: The reception was often empty, and we noticed that this was sometimes due to staff taking smoke breaks. One time, we had to wait for a cleaning lady to call the receptionist, who was outside smoking and talking to other staff members, while the reception was full of guests waiting. I would not expect that in a hotel of this price point. The pool and facilities are smaller than in the pictures.
