A Perfect Stay in the Heart of the Historic Center

Pros: This hotel was absolutely divine! The staff were super friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The location in the historic center is excellent, perfect for exploring the town. And the breakfast – simply grand, a perfect way to start the day. Highly recommended!

We loved our relaxing, quiet stay, but one that offered us options.

Pros: This was my second stay at Sopra La Mura, and I really like this hotel for its view, location, breakfast, and friendly staff. I plan to come again soon.

Cons: I honestly cannot think of anything to improve.

Pros: We stayed in room 401 and I can highly recommend it, as it had two balconies with an amazing view of the sea. We enjoyed our take-out pizza and wine there while taking in the beautiful scenery. The city was very clean (after staying in Palermo, it felt like such a relief) and very cozy. Since we arrived by car, we parked in the free parking lot right in front of the hotel. Gabriella was very helpful and answered all our questions!

Perfect location, gorgeous hotel

Pros: Lovely hotel in the prefect central location. Gorgeous view from the sea view rooms. Staff & receptionists were very helpful in booking us transfers and also the best cooking class at a winery, it was the highlight of our stay. Breakfast was small but nice pastries.

Great central location

Pros: Room above reception was clean and comfortable if a little small. Our friends upgraded and had a beautiful view over the harbour worth the extra £. Parking in a square around the corner was free and easy. Location is perfect to stroll the main street or wander down to the marina for food (3 upmarket fish resteraunts).

A pretty perch to enjoy a fantastic area.

Pros: Nice breakfast buffet although the room was small and a bit stuffy. Rooms in the annex were nice with big windows/doors overlooking the marina. Staff was very helpful. Hotel is located at the end of a pedestrian-only street, so fairly quiet at night. Lovely small restaurants tucked into alleys. DO NOT MISS a visit to the Riserva and Cala Capreria. A bit of a walk but worth it. Scopello is a tiny, charming hamlet also worth a visit. And the amazing ruins of Gibellina Vecchia also worth a drive.

Cons: Some street noise at night (not the hotel fault) made it hard to sleep without earplugs until about midnight. Then it was quiet and peaceful until morning.
