Hotel Cetarium

Pros: Perfect location with several boat rental operators just at the front door ! How convenient ! We loved the breakfast buffet, the dining area is very spacious and stylish with a lot of Sicilian pastries on the menu (we stayed two nights there and had the luxury to try quite a few :P some are surprisingly tasty) The employees at the reception were all very friendly and helpful, we accidentally left two jackets after checking out and they sent us an urgent message right on time...whewwww Will definitely recommend Hotel Cetarium to friends who want to visit Sicily :)

Pros: Position of hotel was fab. Breakfast was fab. Really liked the outdoor areas. Staff were wonderful. Manager was most considerate when we had to curtail our stay due to serious family illness. Very much appreciated.

Cons: Thought it had parking! People walking right past our room door and window.

A fantastic location to enjoy Castellammare.

Pros: A lovely peaceful place to stay on the quayside in Castellammare.

Cons: Parking is limited on the quayside, but the hotel can provide secure parking less than 5 min walk away.

Beautiful small hotel ideal for chilled and relaxing break

Pros: Lovely clean, well maintained hotel. Small number of rooms in this beautifully converted building and courtyard. I even admired the terracotta guttering. The saltwater pool was an amazing plus with pool towels provided. Rooms were very clean with towels and toiletries provided. Breakfast was simple & plentiful with choices of eggs, cheeses, Italian savouries, pastries, fruit, cereal and yogurt. Location was straight on the harbour with its restaurants, castle & promenade . The central square, gardens and Main Street a 10 min uphill stroll (a shortcut with steps is available) .

Cons: Possibly more labels on some of the breakfast choices.

Cosy stay in Castellamare

Pros: Super centrally located hotel. Personnel was really friendly and accommodating. Hotel breakfast was good, room was nice.

Pros: Beautiful old building in a perfect location.Staff were very helpful (Especially Joseppi the guy on the front desk at night)

Cons: The only small complaint I could have was there could be some parasols or some kind of shade around the pool area

Pros: The hotel is very charming and modern also, and the view from the swimming pool is amazing. The breakfast is very special and not the usual intercontinental. The location is perfect, close to the restaurants, bars and city center. We were really satisfied and the staff is also so kind and helpful.

Cons: Despite the fact that there is an air-conditioning in the room, the air was musty

Cons: The garden with “garden rooms” is not really a garden but a square. These rooms does not have a window only a door and seating outside.

Good hotel with pool in great location!

Pros: Nice accommodation down by the harbour, comfortable pool and the rooms were functional. Good location by the harbour and up to the Main Street. the staff was extremely good.

Cons: Extremely noisy at night when guests came home, noisy out towards the harbor when they start emptying glasses in the morning. Breakfast was not good.
