Resort La Battigia Beach & Spa

Beautiful resort

Pros: Thank you for upgrading our room. The resort was so clean and so beautiful. Had a really good sleep. We missed the breakfast so the receptionist who work for morning shift offer us coffee and some pastries when we check out. It’s was very thoughtful and kind.

Clean and modern hotel

Pros: The hotel is very nice, modern, clean, room was spacious and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Cons: The room had poor soundproofing, we could hear the guests in the next room, their alarm clock, even though they were not noisy. The air conditioning was already switched off due to colder season, however our room was still very warm (26-27 degrees) in the night and when we opened the window, we could hear the noise from the outside. Breakfast selection was quite limited.

Modern hotel with lovely staff and great breakfast

Pros: The staff were great and amazing breakfast with lots of choice the beds were very comfy and lovely hot shower in the morning

Cons: The railway line opposite was an eye sore but we had no noise we stayed in winter maybe that’s why

A great experience overall

Pros: The property was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the spa was amazing.

Cons: The only downside was some noise due to thin walls.

Pros: You have to walk across the railway tracks to get to the beach, and the beach is dirty out of season (the hotel itself is very nice).

Pros: A wonderful and authentic hotel. Friendly and professional staff, lovely location, quite rooms with a view of the sea. All areas of the hotel were very clean and the food was beautifully prepared and presented. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The beach is reached by the hotel shuttle service, which runs regularly. The spa is separate and therefore an additional payment, but the outdoor pool is perfect and has sun loungers and beds freely available. The hotel can arrange a taxi to take you into the local town which is about 3km away. We also arranged for the hotel to provide our airport transfers - very efficient both there and back.

Pros: The hospitality was truly exceptional. Clelia, Gianna, and the entire team, from the kitchen to the bar and restaurant staff, were incredibly warm, attentive, and always greeted us with a smile. Anytime we needed assistance or recommendations for activities, they went out of their way to help and make us feel welcome. The resort itself was clean, relaxing, and had a wonderful atmosphere for a couple’s getaway.

Cons: Honestly, nothing to complain about, everything was well taken care of and made our stay memorable.

Perfect Stay

Pros: Couldn’t fault the hotel at all. The room was nice and comfortable, breakfast had a good selection, the pool area was great and there was a good selection of food for lunch around pool and dinner in the restaurant. The beach that the shuttle takes you to is also lovely and there is a nice restaurant within walking distance. The hotel is around a ten minute drive to castellammare del golfo town and is around €20 each way in a taxi and there is nothing else in walking distance but perfect hotel if you’re prepared to pay taxi prices or hire a car. Would definitely recommend!

Best hotel we have ever been to👌

Pros: We had an exceptional experience in this lovely and very modern hotel. Our room was spotless and exceeded our expectations. All staff are extremely friendly and always very helpful. We were welcomed with a glass of prosecco in the reception, we also enjoyed fresh fruit and a bottle of wine waiting for us in our bedroom. Very tasty breakfasts with a range of pastries, biscuits, fresh fruit, European breakfast and so on. The restaurant has a very unique lunch & dinner menu. Every dish we have tried was presented at a very high standard and was really delicious.We would highly recommend this place to anyone.We will come back here very soon.
