Maqueda Mood

Amazing stay in Palermo

Pros: The location is very centric. The photos and the description online match the room. The room was very clean when we entered. The host is communicative, very helpful throughout the whole stay. It was a cosy room. Although there is a bar downstairs, we weren't bothered by the noise unlike some comments we read about this accomodation beforehand. This might depend on the room you have as well. We definitely recommend it.

Cons: We rated 9 out of 10 only because of some minor reasons, which do not impact the comfort of your stay. - There could be a mirror in the room, there is one only in the bathroom. - The shower floor is very flat so the water runs outside easily. This could be improved. Other than that all good!

Pros: The room was absolutely spotless and in the perfect location.

Pros: The location is simply incredible, just a 5-minute walk to all the main attractions.

Pros: Very central location next to bars and restaurants and close to theatre and excursion pick ups. Spacious room. Great whirlpool bath and coffee machine. Comfortable bed. Modern appearance. With air-conditioning and small balcony. Small older style elevator. The owner responded promptly to queries. Felt safe.

Cons: Personal choice only. I would add a shower mat, a bath mat for safety and practical reasons. A mirror above the desk for cosmetics application. Maybe some plastic glasses for drinks fridge. Wasn't sure how to log in to TV in English but wasn't a big problem. For stays longer than 4 days I would negotiate a brief refresh of bins, towels and toiletries. Otherwise excellent and would return.

Pros: Good location in the center. Bed was super comfortable. Fridge. Early check in. Can recommend.

A very comfortable stay in a great location

Pros: Instructions for entry to the apartment were very clear. The location was excellent. Very central Easy to get everywhere. Very clean. Everything in the apartment worked well. A very comfortable stay. Apartment is on 4th floor. - there is a lift, which works very well and is quiet.

Cons: Nothing really..

Pros: The location is perfect, in the very center of Palermo and you don’t need any public transport to walk around. There is a bus stop 3 min walk for the airport shuttle. Self check-in is available, we were able to check in at 11 pm, which usually can be a problem in Italy, but not here! Claudio the manager kept with me in touch via WhatsApp and replied fast and was really helpful. The hotel is modern and new, there is a huge jacuzzi in the room. We were 100% satisfied with our choice of the stay in Palermo, thanks a lot ☺️

Pros: The location is very central, close to Via Maqueda. The staff is very friendly. The apartment is cleaned regularly, and the bed linens are changed. In the apartment hallway, there are some locked cabinets where luggage can be left at check-out.

Pros: The Location and the apartament is quite new and clean

Pros: Our stay in Maqueda Mood was a highlight of our trip to Palermo. Flat was very clean, with premium features - high quality mattress and whirlpool bathtub. Delicious coffee from coffee maker included in the flat. Location is another great advantage - Quttro Canti 3min of walk, Teatro Massimo 5 min of walk, Cathedral 10min of walk - everything really close by feet, which was awesome since public transport in Palermo is more than disappointing and basically don't reach Old Town. Even though the flat is located in the city center it was very quiet inside, so we still had a really good rest. The host, Claudio, was friendly and gave us a lot of tips useful for sightseeing of Palermo. 10/10 recommendation and I hope we will be back soon.
