Pros: The apartment is centrally located, close to everything, including the bus and train stations. Very good contact with the owner.

Pros: Very nice and spacious apartment, clean. Located at the famous market Ballaro. Close to the bus and train station and walking distance from the city and monuments. Restaurants, shops, coffee places nearby. Giorgio met us to hand us over the keays He was very helpful and gave us lots of tips where to eat. Kitchen is well equiped. Coffee, tea, water provided. Communication was easy. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Excellent clean apartment in a great location.

Pros: The host was very friendly and gave us good recommendations for what to do in Palermo. The location is excellent, really close to the market. The apartment was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Everything worked perfectly. We were able to cook food in the kitchen easily and were able to wash our clothes.

Cons: Two keys would be good. The buzzer didn't work and you needed to go down the stairs to let people in.

Pros: Appartment had everything we needed for a short stay. It was very close to the train station and the market.

Pros: The apartment is just like in the pictures, and everything was clean upon arrival. The host was very flexible and helpful with check-in (we arrived quite late and with some short notice, and he received us with no complaints).

Cons: The location is central and allows you to reach essentially anywhere by foot -- and if you need to catch a train, the central station is just a couple of blocks away. However, the surroundings are not so pleasant (particularly at night). It is almost inside the Ballarò street market, which brings trash to the streets, and public illumination is a bit scarce. Nonetheless, we had no problem.

Awesome host and apartment - unfortunately really unsafe at night in the area

Pros: The host was so helpful - he was there on time to give me the keys and was on hand with great recomendations for cycling and walking in the area. The place was a great size and really comfortable.

Cons: The area at night really wasn't safe. I was travelling solo for a few days prior to my friend arriving and was followed numerous times by men which understandably is really scary and there after I wouldn't feel safe going out at night and made sure I was back in the place before dark. It's a shame as the market is so close and the location perfect in the day, but this changes once dark. So be careful

Pros: Really good position, near to city center. Lot of space and comfortable apartment. Nice and helpful host, gave us useful tips about local attractions.

Pros: Spacious, well equipped, lovely apartment, centrally located in a lively area. Very comfortable beds, fantastic shower. Very clean, excellent communication with owner.

Pros: Big self-catering flat conveniently located jus a stone's throw away from a busy local street market. A great place to take in the atmosphere of Palermo. A ten-minute walk to the train and bus stations. Very friendly and helpful owner, who can speak English. Good internet signal. Nice bathroom.

Cons: Very little space in the kitchen, two people won't pass each other. The single beds in one of the bedrooms are too narrow (wide enough for a kid perhaps, but not an adult) and uncomfortable.

Wonderful location with everything you need.

Pros: Right next to the market. Great location to source fresh food and explore all the sites. Vibrant and dynamic neighbourhood, safe and interesting. Inside there was everything we needed, and it was quiet! Big bedroom and living space inside to enjoy in comfort after the day of exploring. Kitchen was well equipped, although a little small. Very responsive host.

Cons: Kitchen was a little small.
