Had a lovely time

Pros: The location was beautiful..The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons: The breakfast wasn't not choices for vegetarians

Great to unwind for two days before our flight home to NZ

Pros: Facilities galore! Everything you could ever imagine! Amazing grounds with so many options to choose from. But also a lovely relaxed feel.

Cons: Meal time! So noisy Buffet choices great but very busy!

Definitely one of the best hotel !

Pros: The front office was amazing. The young lady (with short blonde hair) I forgot her name was fantastic. She solved our small issue really quickly with a big smile and friendly attitude.

Cons: Only one thing was a bit uncomfortable, the kitchen staff (during dinner) wasn't too kind when they realized we didn't speak Italian. 😕 However, it was our second time in the hotel and we will definitely come back .

Pros: Absolutely stunning views, abundance of good food and drink all included in the price. Plenty of activities available for all ages (depending on availability) no need to leave the resort. Room was clean, staff were lovely.

Cons: A big attraction was the water slide (toboggan) into the sea, and unfortunately due to the weather (it seemed fine to us) the last slide into the sea did not open the three days we were there (a few of days ago) which was disappointing for our 14 year old son who was looking forward to it as being the highlight of our holiday. Perhaps a sign at reception and at the commencement of the walk down to the toboggan that it is closed that day would be useful, as it is quite a long walk down and that may save those interested in the toboggan only disappointment and a long walk. That said the slides also seem a bit worse for wear on closer inspection, and are due for a refresh. The booking system for the 2 restaurants that require booking is glitchy, we tried booking for the pizzeria each night through the app given, however we received an automated email saying they will get back to us and never did. At 16:30, reception has the list of bookings for that evening so we needed to go in to find out that we didn’t make the list, even after requesting a booking at 9am that day. The lines for dining halls (buffet style) restaurants could do with some better organisation as some very pushy guests would come in and cut the queues with their entire families while we are waiting patiently this was most evident at the lunch sitting.

Beautiful resort with spacious rooms, stunning sea views, great pools, and friendly staff

Pros: Returning to Città del Mare after 30 years was pure joy, this time as a mother of four. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, with stunning sea views. The resort is huge, full of beautiful gardens and greenery. Our kids absolutely loved the famous toboggan into the sea, and the pools kept everyone happy. The animation team made sure there were fun, varied programs for all ages. A perfect family holiday - we all enjoyed every moment!

Cons: On the downside, the dining experience was very disappointing. In August peak season, the hotel was packed with over 2,000 guests, but only two restaurants were open. Breakfast and lunch often felt like a ‘Hunger Games’ competition - unless you arrived very early, it was nearly impossible to get proper food without frustration. That said, the staff remained helpful and kind at all times, even though it must have been just as frustrating for them as for the guests. The dining setup really needs improvement to match the otherwise wonderful setting.

We had a great time and the staff were excellent.

Pros: The spaciousness and cleanliness of the hotel and the facilities.

Amazing, perfect for families and I would recommend to anyone.

Pros: The whole experience was amazing from start to finish. The reception staff were welcoming and very informative about the resort. The restaurants available and choice and variety of food was exceptional especially the pizzeria. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make the stay perfect. The animation team were excellent also with adults and children. A shout out to Giovanni who energy when doing aqua gym was nothing short of phenomenal. The onsite medical team were also highly professional when we had to see them about an injury my son had got whilst off the resort. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone.

Great family holiday

Pros: It’s beautiful with lots of facilities. Great number of restaurants and swimming pools. There is also a bus that you can get to Terrasini and Palermo. Entertainment was great and it was clean.

Cons: The restaurants did not offer enough variety, it was hard to get a reservation in the ones that were different to the main ones and then they were just a buffet anyway. A seafood restaurant would have been great and maybe a fancy pizza place. The room was a bit small for a family of four if you have teenagers and it was quite outdated.

We had a fantastic time and met the most amazing people

Pros: The staff in all areas of the hotel were amazing and made us feel so welcome. A special mention to the entertainment staff who were suberb. Their enthusiasm and positive engergy was contagious and added that extra touch to our time there. We enjoyed the chats at the pool, the aqua aerobics, the quiz, the shows, the music and the dancing and so much more. We had a fabulous time and would definitely recommend it. Thanks to all. Terrific Terrasini

Pros: The people who worked there were so friendly, welcoming and kind.The food was excellent with a fabulous variety and it was really fresh.The animation team were unbelievable and really made our stay so memorable .The views were spectacular. All we could see were mountains and tge sea.❤️ We will definitely be back.
