First class short stay B&B hotel.

Pros: Veronica is wonderful, a mine of information, and generous with her time and explanations. She collects fresh cornetti and cakes from the local panificio each morning, and provides good strong coffee to start the day.The B&B hotel is spotlessly clean, located in an excellent quarter. Our flight arrived late in the evening, yet the owner found time generously to welcome us to the hotel.

Cons: The B&B hotel is excellently placed on the edge of the pedestrian zone for central Palermo. Visitors should be aware that one side of the palazzo fronts onto Via Roma, the main thoroughfare for traffic heading into Palermo. The noise should not put you off, simply take your normal travelling precautions.

Good hosts & location

Pros: Hosts Veronica & Giuseppe were friendly & helpful. Room & bathroom was very clean. WiFi was good and smart tv in room. Good location.

Great attentive people in a good location near tourist areas

Pros: Veronica was really great and helpful. She is made for this industry. Keep up the good work! The room was nice and big. Location is close to the tourist parts of Palermo, easy walking distance.

Cons: The noise from the street (corner room) was quite loud at night, that was unfortunate. It would be good to have curtains that darken the room because the streetlamps shine through the shutters during the night. For the breakfast maybe add a few vegan things there fue to people with allergies - against milk protein etc.

Pros: Amarillo is situated with easy walking distance of historic Palermo in a traditional Palermo building. The facilities are excellent, rooms well equipped and comfortable, comfy beds and well-equipped bathrooms. The breakfast caters for all tastes and provides a good start to the day, Veronica is an excellent host, friendly, efficient and a fount of local knowledge about places to visit, how to get around and anything else to do with Palermo. Thoroughly recommended.

Highly recommended - lovely caring staff members

Pros: Great location with wonderful and caring staff. Daniella and Veronica were very caring when my wife was feeling unwell. Room was very nice with two lovely balconies.

Cons: Only very slight quibble was lack of fruit at breakfast

Pros: Great location, large room & although on busy road, was very quiet . Veronica is a star. She was so helpful and sent lots of information to help us with our visits. We enjoyed our trips to : Tour opera house ( sit in Royal Box) & buy a coffee in theatre cafe after Cathedral Cefalu day trip on train ( 101 bus is easy & frequent to station) Per La Dolceria de Santa Catarina ( old bakery in old nunnery with cloisters ) lovely spot to sit & enjoy a cannoli- check it out Oste e pizza ( nearby in pedestrian area) good Italian food but more professional than some touristy places. Great food.

Cons: Would be great to have more choice at breakfast - maybe fresh breads, cereals, fresh cheeses, fresh juice. Cakes & coffee were great. Would be happy to pay more for a higher quality breakfast.

Great place to stay in Palermo.

Pros: The B and B was very comfortable and clean. Veronica made us breakfast every morning and was available for any questions we had. The location was perfect. Just a short walk from all the action with good restaurants nearby. Highly recommended and good value.
