MAD Bed & Breakfast

Pros: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An absolute gem in the heart of Palermo! We stayed at MAD Bed & Breakfast and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Santino went above and beyond, he kept in touch while we were traveling from Canada, checking in to make sure of the time we landed to make sure he was at the B&B when we arrived. He welcomed us with kindness (and espresso!) and took the time to sit with us, marking a personalized map full of must-see spots based on what we love. The place itself is small, charming, and spotless, quiet, cozy, and truly feels like home. The location is perfect for exploring Palermo on foot. As someone who eats gluten-free, I was blown away by the thoughtful breakfast options Santino prepared for me. We honestly could not have dreamed of a better stay. MAD is more than a B&B — it’s a warm welcome to Sicily.

Pros: Santino gave us a warm welcome. The apartment was very clean and beautifully decorated. The service we received was outstanding! If you're planning to stay in Palermo, this B&B is definitely a must-book.

Super stay. Nice B&B on a top location.

Pros: Very clean and cosy B&B. Nicely decorated and very friendly and helpfull owner. The location is also super!

Cons: The beds are a bit hard for our Experience.

Exceptional place for location, friendliness and comfort

Pros: Our host was exceptional. Upon arrival, he spent some time with us and gave us some great insider knowledge on areas to go to and avoid, this gs to do and eat - much more authentic than what we could find online! The room itself was perfect, and the b&b was in a great location, spotless and had all the amenities we needed. 10/10 recommend staying here.

Be sure if you want to spend some time in Palermo stay in MAD...

Pros: First of all owner who gives us all informations about ours visiting Palermo, what to see, where to eat and etc. The apartment is located in walking aria and you do not need a public transport. Everything was really nice. 🙏

Pros: We were in the heart of the city, shopping, restaurant, markets, attractions. Liked thar we could watch YouTube movies in English. Hosts were very accommodating and friendly.

Cons: Parking was a 20 min walk away and was 24 Euros per day. However if you're not driving then this location is perfect.

Palermo has lots to see and enjoy. We wished we had stayed longer.

Pros: The location was perfect, we could easily walk to all the main sights. Our host was very helpful with suggestions about sightseeing, and gave us a map. There were plenty of choices for breakfast, and we served ourselves.

Pros: Really loved the apartment, it’s in a great location and the style of decoration made it truly unique, a lovely place to stay. Santino recommended many interesting places to visit and to go for food. Breakfast and fresh coffee available until late morning was also a great touch.

Cons: The only thing that would have improved things for me, would have been a slightly more comfortable bed, it was very hard. I appreciate this is a very personal thing though, would not stop me coming back another time! :)

Best accommodation I’ve had in a major city. Ticks all the boxes.

Pros: It’s on a quiet street at night, yet only minutes from super eating places, and easy to find as it’s beside one of the famous churches. It’s right beside the market Ballaro but not in it. Santino recommended 2 places to eat which were amazing, cheap and top quality, perfect Sicilian experiences.

Cons: Everything was brilliant.

Tornare a Palermo

Pros: Santino è speciale ti fa sentire subito a casa. Micro b&b situato in centro, tutto a portata di mano. Splendido e posizione veramente strategica. Caldo ed accogliente rende magico il soggiorno a Palermo. Hai tutto ciò che ti serve e quello che manca basta chiedere che ti verrà dato. Lo consiglio a tutti e sarà una gioia poterci ritornare.
