Pros: Alfonso is a very nice host! Always happy to help and giving great tips of what to do in Palermo. Another big plus was the breakfast with delicious and feshly baked brioches + excellent location in the city centre.

Cons: The rooms are very basic and our balcony was completely blocked by construction work so also very dark. Also, sound is getting through very easily so you can hear a lot when people are standing in the communal area in the apartment.

Convenient location for short stays

Pros: Central location and very convenient for site visits and transport Staff very helpful and very good communication before and during the stay The elevator is a big plus

Cons: Room looked a bit tired; lacking of coat hangers and the rusty bathroom trolley could do with replacing Breakfast was nice but it would have been nice to have the option to vary the pastries especially as we were there for 7 days and left behind the same ones every day.

Clean and comfortable rooom with great breakfast in an ideal location to explore Palermo.

Pros: Lovely room in a great location for exploring the old centre of Palermo.

Cons: Alfonso gave us a great welcome with tea and pastries. The room was clean and comfortable and a great location for exploring the old town. Only 10 minutes walk to the train station. 30 minutes to Ferry terminal. Breakfast was lovely, fresh coffee and pastries.

Brilliant location, lovely host, excellent value for money.

Pros: When you get the basics right at this price you can’t go wrong. Clean, exceptionally comfortable bed (the best I’ve slept in for a long while) and if you can eat all the breakfast well done you!

Cons: We were there for three nights-a little variation on breakfast would have been welcome but that’s a small criticism
