Hotel Grotticelli

Pros: Nicola is a truly good host made sure we are welcome ,super clean, comftable premises great breakfast our stay was great at Hotel Grotticelli hope we visit again soon

Cons: There was nothing we did not like

Great location and property.

Pros: The property is setup in a large area on the outskirts of Scopello, and has everything you need that you probably dont need to go outside the property if you dont feel like it. Swimming pool, sunbathing chairs, restaurant, and nice big rooms. The breakfast spread is huge, and it was my biggest breakfast of the trip. The staff was also kind enough to let us check out late as there was no one checking in to our room afterwards. There is ample free parking available on the property

Cons: Some of the stuff was really old and not enough charging points near the bed.

Pros: Everything such an awesome experience, don’t just book one night because you won’t want to leave

Nice few nights passing through Sicily

Pros: The hotel is in a very picturesque setting. On the occasions when we had the pool area to ourselves, it was really peaceful. The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast spread was extensive. Although the property is remote, with a car it’s easy to get around to local beaches. One night we also walked down to the nearby pizzeria and mini golf, which was a fun night out.

Cons: As other reviews have mentioned, there are lots of lovely, friendly cats on the property. However, it was disappointing to see that many of them were underweight and displaying signs of cat flu. It’s a shame to let the cats continue to breed if the kittens are not going to be well cared for.

Pros: Hotel, despite its age, very nice and neat, good breakfast, location away from the city so it is very quiet. Large rooms.

Very nice

Pros: Great location. A short drive to beautiful beaches and restaurants.

Very peaceful location with stunning scenery . A very relaxing place.

Pros: Very nice Hotel complex with spread out rooms and a central pool. Continental style breakfast and a restaurant at the top (bordering on michelin quality). Room was ok and comfy beds. Staff were very nice and couldn,t help you enough if you had a question or a problem. Would def return.

Cons: Sometimes the restaurant was shut at lunch and a sandwich or like would have kept us on site.

It was a delightful place and very good value for money.

Pros: Warm spacious room and delicious breakfast. Ample stress free parking. If the weather had been better we would have been able to enjoy the terrace and views, too.

Cons: It was the shame the restaurant wasent open , but of course it was off season so fair enough and we were warned (just hadn’t read the warning).

Wonderful hotel in beautiful surroundings

Pros: The geographical location, the large size and comfort of the accommodation,... Nicolas's kindness and professionalism were also very much appreciated. I highly recommend !

Pleasant stay in the countryside

Pros: Quiet resort with beautiful surroundings. Has a fantastic restaurant, which was the highlight of the resort, and the rooms are pleasant enough. Parking was fantastic, and the staff were friendly. It was great to have aperitivos by the pool, and the drinks were cheap.

Cons: The rooms were a little dated and the shower was too small.
