Very good host with a cozy stay

Pros: The host Michele is a wonderful person, we cannot thank him enough for his kindness and all the lengths he went to deal with minor issues (internet was cut off due to recent storms and he went ahead and got a sim-modem to get us connected!). Overall it was a very good stay and we left very happy & satisfied.

Cons: The beds are not as comfortable as I hoped but we slept just fine. Also, maybe a flynet for the bedroom could be nice to help you leave the door open at night for beautiful & fresh Sicilian air.

appartement met zwembad, vriendelijke eigenaar

Pros: De gastheer was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam, goed toegankelijk, sprak goed Engels. Hij is je buurman. We kregen allerlei informatie, ook een plattegrond. Netjes en schoon appartement. Met tuin en zwembad. Je kunt de auto gratis binnen de poort bij de accommodatie parkeren. Er is een supermarkt vlakbij op loopafstand (5 min). Er was een bank waar tegenover een tv hing, dus kon je lekker tv kijken vanaf de bank. Er was een mobiele airco in de woonkamer. Er is vlakbij (5 min lopen) een bushalte, met een rechtstreekse lijn naar het centrum, de bus gaat elke 15/20 minuten en in ca. 25 minuten ben je in het centrum van Palermo, de rit was gratis.

Cons: De douche ging steeds van koud naar warm. De bank zat een beetje hard. Het was erg heet eind juni, de koude lucht van de mobiele airco uit de huiskamer bereikte de slaapkamer niet, waardoor het wat warm was, maar er was wel een ventilator, dat scheelde. De accommodatie is niet op loopafstand van het centrum, maar goed te bereiken met de bus. Er gaan na 21:00 geen bussen meer terug, ook al zegt de Moovit app van wel. Er gaat nog wel een nachtbus, die hadden wij genomen, die zou rond 22:30 vertrekken, maar kwam wat later en vertrok uiteindelijk rond 23:00, ook weer gratis. Dus prima te doen met de bus.
