Very nice place to stay in Palermo.
Pros: It’s clean, beautiful, quiet and the location is excellent. Moreover the host, Mechele is very friendly and helps a lot with all our needs, like organizing our taxi and let us keep our luggage for a few hours and use the facilities while waiting for our departure time. The dining hall is very nice, coffee and fruit, nuts and cookies are very appreciated. Thank you Mechele.

Perfect 🙂
Pros: We spent 4 days in Palermo. Our host Michelle welcomed us very warmly; the check-in was early in the morning, so we didn’t have to wait until 3 PM to enter the room. Michelle guided us on where to go, what to do, and what to see in the city, and he was always available for any questions or help. The rooms are in an ideal location, right in the center of the old town, and we were able to visit everything on foot without needing a car. It's very important to note that the property is located in a quiet street, so there was no noise or crowds during the night. We highly recommend Michelle and the Bellaroto rooms.

Excellent
Pros: Very good place to stay. Beautiful, stylish large room, good bathroom, balcony, and lots of attention to detail. Elegant mix of the old and the new and everything worked well. The original frescoed ceiling was a bonus. Michele was a great host - bright, cheerful and always ready to help. The location was excellent, very close to Via Roma, Piazza Bellini, good restaurants, and a ten-minute walk to the station, but quiet and peaceful. Would happily stay here again, and to recommend it. Cons: I can't see that the 100 Euro bond that Bellaroto requires on checking in is mentioned in the website. We think it should be. Haven't come across it before. No lift, but the beautiful 20 or so marble stairs wouldn't be a problem for most people. Thought the breakfast in the tariff - at a local cafe, as stated - was not good value for the money.

Mixed experience in a charming historic setting
Pros: •\tThe location is superb: everything is within walking distance, including the historic center and local attractions, making it very convenient for exploring the city. \t•\tThe train station is just about a 5‑minute walk away, which is a great plus when you want to move around easily. \t•\tBreakfast was a highlight: not served in the suite itself, but in a lovely nearby restaurant just a short walk away. The quality and variety were excellent. \t•\tThe building has real character — a historic structure with frescoes on the ceilings, lending a sense of elegance and charm. \t•\tIt was relatively quiet inside, which was appreciated given the central urban location.
Cons: •\tThe shower setup was poorly designed. The shower door swings inward, but because of the layout, it can’t open fully. We had to shower with the door partially open, and it was impossible to get in. It was ok only for kids. \t•\tThe entrance door to the building is uncomfortably low. Even at a height of 150 cm one must stoop a bit — perhaps this is part of its historic character, but it annoyed us. \t•\tThese issues detract somewhat from what is otherwise a very atmospheric and well-situated place.
