Recomend going to Mondello Beach

Pros: Great location of the property - very close to main attactions within the centro storico od Palermo, wonderful contact with the host, cleanliness (everyday cleaning) is a huge advantage of this object. Delicious self service coffee available any time of the day.

Cons: Only 5 euro per person for breakfasts are not enough in the restaurant they serve them. In this price you can choose one cornetti, coffee and a drink which is not even a juice, so we had to search for something more to eat each day - what you get is rather a little snack then breakfast :)

Pros: Easy check in arrangements though we never met the host. Well located in the old town . Clean and nice breakfast in nearby cafe . Good restaurant just outside.

Marvellous Marketo Capo B and B

Pros: Excellent facilities and lovely characterful room in brilliantly central location.Right in the centre of Capo Mercato. Very vibey!! Rather steep spiral stairs but well worth the effort. Host Gabriele, was very helpful and communicative, making our stay delightful and a great base to explore this amazing city.

Great value and location in the heart of Palermo

Pros: Good value for money and good location. Also very spacious room. In all, we were very happy with our stay here.

Cons: Organizing logistics was a little annoying since you don't see the owners, and I dislike being on my vacation and having to text regularly about the room. The internet only worked about half the time. But these are small complaints and in general we were happy with the accommodation.

Nice room in a noisy area

Pros: Amazing host who had provided precise info about how to reach the property from the airport and also welcomed us for explaining everything in English about the room. The room was great with a lot of space, a comfortable bed and a big bathroom. There is also a small balcony from both sides overlooking a small piazza. There are around 20 steps to reach the 1st floor with 3 rooms. There is also a common kitchen for the 3 rooms, which is well equipped with free coffee pods and a coffee machine, tea and some biscuits. In nearby distance there is a fish market and restaurant and there are plenty of cafeterias and nice bistros or bars nearby.

Cons: The biggest issue was the external noise, but this cannot be controlled by the property. Every night we could hear motorbikes with custom exhausts, metal banging (maybe from nearby shops) or even some pumps and glass bottles being disposed of. Also the internet was slow. The breakfast was not an issue that was served at a cafeteria 300 meters away, but it was basic and we were hungry after 30 minutes, as it was including just a coffee, a bottle of water and one pastry.. The towels weren't changed in 3 nights, although they were supposed to be changed every 2 days.

Good time

Pros: Location very good, in the area behind of Massimo theatre, right in the famous Capo Market, so you can check your first objective right away, the street food of Palermo. Coffee and pastry offered with street vibe at Cafe Verdi13, loved it. Room was clean, friendly host. I went to Cefalu 1 day, by train. And to Monreale by bus, don't miss that amazing cathedral they have!

Cons: Very noisy due to the market Il Capo and lots of garbage left on the streets daily after the market closes. This cannot be changed, just accepted as part of the vacation in that area.

Pros: Very friendly hosts, perfect location, big room & comfortable bed, shower with great water pressure; kitchen with snacks, juice and coffee.

Cons: some noise on the street during the night, but we slept like dead anyway :)

Best place to discover the town

Pros: ideally located to discover the whole town. breakfast is well organized by Davide's mother

Cons: a bit noisy early in tbe morning; from 4.30am, with the pasticceria and the fish market. some bycicles are turning around also no international network on tbe TV

Highly recommended

Pros: Super location near all of the main attractions and street market, large bathroom, comfortable bed, very clean (service every day), air conditioning very welcome in the summer.

Cons: WiFi was a bit temperamental but worked in the end.

Would stop by

Pros: Good location. Close to everything. There is breakfast. Clean room just like pictures.

Cons: Oh it was very loud from the market. And in the afternoon the room was STINKY from all the trash. You can’t open windows or turn AC, it gets worse 🥲
