Awesome 4 nights! Wish we could have stayed LONGER.
Pros: The host was amazing and caring. He met us there, gave us tips of what to see, where to eat etc. La Cassatella was clean, within walking distance of all the amenities that one would need and was equipped with towels, blankets, and all the amenities to make you feel like at home. We all enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer.
Cons: Nothing to dislike about La Cassatella.

Pros: The flat is very nice, clean, fully equipted. THe location is very good, close to the centre and main attractions. The owner is very friendly and helpfull, responding to all request immediatelly. Excellent choise for staying in Palermo.

An outstanding property in a great location.
Pros: At a good location with easy access to the old city and sights as well as shops bars and restaurants. The property is in an apartment block with a lovely wood panelled entrance hall with concierge in attendance. The building has a lot of charm reminiscent of the art-deco style. The apartment was exceptional: large, comfortable and well appointed. Our host was also great. Extremely helpful, responsive and very pleasant to deal with when we had questions. Top marks.
Cons: We found the bed a little hard - pillows too. But it's a subjective thing and we all have different tastes. There was some building work going on in the apartment upstairs which started around 8am. Our host wasn't aware work was still going on and apologised for this. An upgrade of kitchen utensils would be a good idea.

La Cassatella really made our stay in Palermo a wonderful experience!
Pros: The apartment is in great location for exploring Palermo with a sea view from the terrace. It is very spacious and had every thing we needed for our stay. Our hosts kindly left water and coffee for us which was a considerate touch. There is a coffee bar/bakery/gelateria at the bottom of the building which was fantastic for getting breakfast or an evening ice cream!
Cons: Bring ear plugs! Nothing to do with the apartment itself, but the location is right where the cruise terminal passengers disembark and there is a lot of traffic and noise in the street most of the time, even with the windows closed. Nothing that Donato and Marcella can do about this, it is just where the apartment happens to be!

An exceptional place to stay in Palermo
Pros: Marcella is a great host - friendly, pleasant, and helpful. The family home is clean, modern, comfortable, and the overall experience has exceeded our expectations. I would stay here again should I return to Palermo.
Cons: I am a light sleeper so not a fan of the swinging double bed but other people may like it

Spacious luxury in Palermo with a view of the sea.
Pros: Not only was the apartment huge but it was filled with wonderful design pieces such as the bookshelves and the extraordinary bed. It was 5 mins walk to the centre and had hand shops and cafes outside the front door. It’s a luxury apartment for sure. However, the owner Donato was equally as fantastic, he was so accommodating, helpful and more than ready to help with any query.

Pros: The best accomendation in our Sicily trip! The apartment was better than from the pictures and exceeded our expectation. Everything was clean, super convenient location and we liked the decorations and design of the apartment a lot. The host was very nice and responsive. The big bed is interesting!
Cons: Difficult to find a free parking so we had to park in the parking house with agreement nearby.

Pros: The apartment is the size of a small house. Close to the ferries. Pleasant balcony, good internet, with washing machine. We were allowed to check out late.
