Pros: Everything was wonderful, a caring owner, a boutique apartment/luxury hotel. A very quiet apartment in the historic city center. Tasteful interiors, classic wooden furniture and floors. A very comfortable bedroom. Pictures and books, wonderful music for breakfast, beautiful porcelain, and homemade pastries – thank you very much, Cristina.

Pros: Location is very good but breakfast is poor no variety

Cons: It’s guest house not hotel

Pros: Our hostess Cristina was brilliant- knowledgeable, engaging, responsive. The apartment exuded elegant Sicilian. The breakfasts were delicious, featuring typical Sicilian sweets and fruits. Location in the heart of the old town was perfect for us to use as a base to explore the city and surrounds.

Cons: There was in our opinion nothing to improve on!

Great location in the centre

Pros: The location was fantastic and the room very spacious. Airport shuttle bus stop is 5 mins walk away (via Roma). It wasn't easy to get into the building (we were helped by a kind neighbour).

Cons: We would have liked a kettle in the room to make a hot drink. Breakfast is normally served at 0900. On both days we wanted to have it earlier. On the first day we went out for breakfast and on the second day Cristina kindly served us a croissant and coffee early so that we could get to the airport for 0930.

Beautiful home and lovely host!

Pros: Our host could not do enough for us which was much appreciated.

Cons: We arrived very late which meant the taxi could not drop us close by as the main road is full of restaurants and closed to traffic at night. The main gate into the courtyard from the archway is not manned and is closed at night so we could not find the place in the dark from where we were dropped off! Very stressful. Cristina guided us there by phone eventually! It would be very helpful to provide late arrivals with detailed guidance of how to find the entrance, which bell to push, the lift and floor. Happy to assist in writing an English version!

Amazing place to stay

Pros: Wonderful location to start with! It is a beautiful Palazzo and the host Cristina is very helpful. I was travelling alone as a female and felt very safe. Breakfast was great (one morning all pastries were homemade). Highly recommend it.

Pros: As a female traveling alone, this place was perfect! I felt safe and secure. The location is perfect for exploring historic Palermo. Cristina arranged a fabulous female tour guide for me as well. Hope to return again soon!
