Wonderful stay at Palermo
Pros: One cornetto and a cup of coffee for breakfast downstairs. If you want more, you can buy something else for a lower price, in comparison to the city center. The interior is beautiful, very authentic feeling of an old house. Clean room, shower, air conditioning etc, everything is working. I didn't feel like I'm at a hotel / hostel but more like at home. The location is good, better than I expected, Norman palace and the cathedral are just 15-20 minutes on foot, there is also public transport for those who don't want to walk. Cuba palace is just on the other side of the street. Cappuccini Catacombs and Zisa palace also reachable on foot in 10 and 20 minutes. The area in general is quite and cheaper than the center of the city.
Cons: There is nothing that I didn't like.

Pros: A beautiful house for a small price, with a gorgeous roof and a view from the balcony. In the morning, you can enjoy fresh croissants and coffee from the oven. The house is clean and well-maintained. It takes about 15-20 minutes to reach all the main attractions. Near the house, there is a testagrossa restaurant that is a must-visit, where you can enjoy panini with pork or spleen.

Amazing 🤩
Pros: It was probably the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Amazing host David, very nice, amazing rooftop terrace with gorgeous views of the city and the garden, breakfast included, big kitchen, nice bathrooms, big rooms, beds were okay, good location - there's an amazing cafe just at the entrance of the hostel and in 8 mins walk there's an amazing park and train station. Overall I highly recommend visiting this place! ☺️
Cons: Because I'm tall I found beds a bit small

Pros: It's like a penthouse with huge terrace with view to an olive garden in the middle of the urban area. It is quite special . Because it is not dead center in the old town, it was not crowded . I ve enjoyed myself there and planning a return already .

For those who prefer home comfort to hotels
Pros: Luxurious apartments within walking distance of Via Vittorio, home to many tourist attractions and temples. The elegant room features very comfortable beds and, most importantly for me, pillows. The large, spacious kitchen allows to brew your own coffee, cook meals, or simply store groceries in the fridge. The balcony offers a beautiful view of the orange grove and mountains. There is also access to the rooftop, which provides stunning views as well. The owner, David, is a wonderful, warm, and responsive person who will not only help resolve any issues that may arise but also chat with you and share interesting information about Palermo. The price included breakfast—coffee and a croissant at the café on the ground floor, and it was delicious. We stayed for two nights but realized we should have stayed longer. Therefore, we definitely plan to return here many more times.
Cons: No complaints whatsoever
