Sicilian countryside - feels like at home here.

Pros: Everything - location - Sicilian countryside, spectacular views, short distance to Ficuzza Forrest, Corleone, Piana Del Albinesi, ca 1,3hrs drive to Palermo. Silence, clean air, privacy, very nice owners. Rooms very clean, very comfortable beds. Good breakfast, clean pool, very well kept garden. Great place for introverts, hiking fans, nature lovers or simply for family holidays. Far away from massive commercial tourism. Silence helps to recover in the peace, you can hear only doves on the roof.

Cons: Hard to find cons. A cattle with tea and coffee in the room, small fridge would be great. The property is in the mountains in the countryside, so you'll need a car to get there.

A lovely farm stay with a superb restaurant

Pros: We had booked for 4 nights but were only able to stay for 3 nights as there was a problem with one of our rooms. Sylvia contacted us to let us know and arranged alternative accommodation for us nearby. Once we were able to check-in, the staff could not have been more accommodating. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard with daily servicing. The pool was lovely, a welcome relief from the hot August sun, with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. But the highlight for us was the food in the restaurant. We had lunch and dinner there on several occasions, trying everything on the menu and can truly say every dish was superb. My children ate them out of ragu! Thank you, Filippo, we will remember your meals for many years to come! This is a really lovely farm stay if you want to get away from it all. Thank you, Benedetta and team for a lovely stay.

Cons: Coffee/tea making facilities in our rooms would have been a nice extra touch. The remote location is both a positive and a negative - it's a good escape, but at the same time, it was quite a drive on country roads to get to other cities / villages.

Beautiful quiet place

Pros: The place is very quiet, calm and relaxing. Dinner very good. Staff very friendly

Cons: A fridge and a kettle in room would be convenient

Decent stay at good location but some improvements could be made

Pros: Great location right on the Magna Via Francigena. Despite the fact that we were the only guests, dinner and breakfast were prepared for us. Room was clean and decent.

Cons: Room outdated. Strange smell in the room where the breakfast and dinner were served. €25 very expensive for a dinner with only two small antipasti dishes and a pasta (although it was thoughtful that they accommodated our request not to serve meat).

Very nice vacation. Own transport is a must.

Cons: The steps leading to/from rooms are a problem for anyone with mobility problems.

Pros: The accommodation with the swimming pool was an oasis when walking the MVF

Cons: The inconsideration of a large group of other guests who arrived back at the property after 1.30am and proceeded to talk loudly have showers

Pros: Fantastic place, magnificent landscapes, fresh air, peace and quiet. Spacious authentic rooms, well-kept territory. A very friendly family runs this hotel and takes care of their guests with hospitality. The head of the family personally prepares real Sicilian dishes. The family also produces and sells delicious olive oil. I highly recommend this guest house for a rest of soul and body. Special thanks to Silvia for the gift for our son.

Cons: It would be just perfect if there was a spa on the guest house grounds.

Pros: Lovely surroundings and a delicious meal. The staff were very kind too. We stayed while walking camino francigena- a welcome oasis!
