Quiet place away from noisy places
Pros: A real country house. The house has two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two single beds, and a folding sofa in the living room. The kitchen has everything you need for self-cooking. There are air conditioners in two rooms, the bedroom and the living room. The house has an open terrace where it is pleasant to relax in the evening. Check-in took place without the presence of the owner, we received a code for a safe with keys. In the living room, a compliment from the owner of wine and pasta awaited us. We also received detailed information about restaurants, beaches and interesting places nearby. The owner speaks English. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.
Cons: The road to the apartment is narrow and requires good driving skills. There is no store within walking distance.

Perfect
Pros: The host Mino probably is the best host I've ever had. He arranged early check in, left so nice welcome and good by presents, explained everything clearly and gave us lot's of ideas for the upcoming days plans. Big detached house, with inner yard, plenty of space, AC in the bedrooms and wifi. The location is for those who likes to travel and have a car - the spot is good for reaching any other places. The beach is quite close (by car), but only for those who needs Lido and like kind of city beaches. Sicily has much more wonderful beaches around, but not in Balestrade. It depends what you are looking for. Thank you, Mino!

Perfect place for family vacation.
Pros: Very spacious apartment with fully equipped big terrace (barbecue, couch, bench, big dining table…). Very kind host, with a lot of interesting sightseeing suggestions, great welcome and thank you gifts… everything was just perfect!
Cons: Nothing😁.

I would love to be back
Pros: The house is amazing! Spacious, nicely decorated. Feels like Sicily. Front porch and back yard is super comfortable. Location is amazing too if you want piece and quiet like we do. You need a car to move around if you want to visit beautiful island. The best host ever. Always answering the phone and replying on messages. In a few minutes our problems were solved. Thank you

Perfect vacation in Sicily!!!
Pros: Perfect vacation in Sicily!!! Lovely big house. The house has everything you might need for a comfortable stay. All the details in the house are thought out with love and attention to the guests. Everywhere is very clean! A great opportunity to dine in the beautiful garden after a long day. An ideal place for trips to the most beautiful and interesting places in the region. The owner of the apartment is very kind and will give you a lot of information to make your holiday even more interesting. Apartment is located in just a short drive to the beautiful sandy beach. There are many very good restaurants in Balestrate. One of our favorites was Da Giovanni, be sure to book a table there for the evening. We were very happy that we stayed in this apartment. We spent great time here! Thank you Mino for your hospitality!

Typisch Sizilien, wie wir es lieben.
Pros: Wir haben die schattige Terrasse vor dem Haus für das Frühstück und am Abend genutzt. Dort hat man einen schönen Blick in die Landschaft und, wenn man möchte, einen netten Kontakt mit den italienischen Nachbarn. Es war wirklich alles sehr praktisch eingerichtet.

Beautiful small house, quiet area, with everything you need
Pros: I chose on purpose a location that seemed to be on the country side. I stayed at Rifugio Sebastiao, two persons in the two bedroom small house, and I recommend it very very highly. It was quiet, peaceful, wide, breathable, perfect for two people staying 8 nights. Fully equipped kitchen, private interior (closed) and external terraces, parking space. Washing machine useful for long staying with a backpack. Living room with AC and TV, free WiFi. Bedroom with hard mattress (which for me is very comfy and healthy for the back). Blind shutters creating complete darkness. Finally, Mino, the owner, was extremely objective, kind and full of advice to go around. PS: A very nice and funny neighborhood cat was welcoming us every night and every morning, on the exterior terrace, where he seems to be the ower of the cental seating. Added bonus, you can get a temporary pet with the accommodation.
Cons: Some mentioned the road to the property, true, it's not the best, but I had no problem with that, just drive slowly on the ramp towards the parking. Ignore maps or waze and always enter towards the property via SP17 road, from that direction the road is very ok. Initially I complained about not having small extras, there was no salt, pepper, olive oil (for self cooking), no trash bags. I mentioned it to Mino and he brought them the following day.

Pros: Dom na uboczu Balestrate. Chyba przerobiony na kilka mieszkań z dawnego gospodarstwa. Cisza i spokój. Miejsce do zaparkowania samochodu. Kuchnia dobrze wyposażona i przestronna, połączona z salonem. Był nawet czajnik elektryczny. Wnętrza urządzone w stylu rustykalnym. Klimatyzacja sprawna. Sterowana indywidualnie dla każdej sypialni. Przemiły i bardzo uczynny gospodarz pan Girolamo. Dom jest \
Cons: Niezbyt dokładny opis na booking.com wyposażenia łazienek. Zrozumiałem z niego, że są 2 łazienki, a na miejscu okazało się, że łazienka z prysznicem jest jedna, a druga łazienka to tylko WC z umywalką. Przy 5 osobach to była pewna niedogodność.
