Exceptional BnB with marvellous hosts

Pros: Exceptional hosts who went above and beyond to help us have a great visit. The villa has fabulous antique furniture, lovely grounds and a delicious generous breakfast

Cons: We would have appreciated some bottled water and offer of soft drinks during the stay. There was a dog barking both nights. The walk up to the town is exceptionally steep but we managed it.

Friendly hosts in a charming home.

Pros: Friendly hosts welcomed us to their lovely home. Room was comfortable though another pillow each would have made it even more comfortable. Bathroom was luxurious and the breakfasts superb. Accessing the village and cathedral requires a walk up a fairly steep hill but the property is easy to access from a main road. The bus service to Palermo was excellent and ran exactly to time.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Lovely room and the property with great safe parking inside the property (especially because we were travelling by motorcycle). The location is great, close to Duomo and direct bus to Palermo. The breakfast was excellent and served when we've asked for. The hosts, Santino and Elvira were wonderfull. They offered a ride to the bus station for Palermo, recommended a great osteria where we ate excellent pasta and the staff was great. Our hosts offered also to drive us to osteria or pick us up altough it's only 5-minute walk from them. If you like warm and welcoming hosts during your whole stay this is definitely a place for you.

Our stay there left us with a great impression of warm Sicilian hospitality.

Pros: Very welcoming proprietors, Santino and Elvira, who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast was outstanding, more than ample, fresh and delicious. Lovely view from our terrace. Safe, off-road parking.

Cons: The steps on the way back from the town at night could be better lit.

Lovely Sicilian Hospitality

Pros: Lovely room in a lovely property .secure parking inside the property gates .Great breakfast served when you wanted it . Comfortable bed but pillows were a bit lumpy . Hosts were so helpful and insisted on driving us to the bus stop to make sure we caught the right bus into Palermo.

Cons: Nothing at all

Our first choice for staying in Monreale

Pros: Big, quiet and well equipped room that was tastefully decorated. Wonderful breakfast and very kind hosts.

Pros: We liked everything! It was a great decision to stay away from Palermo. Location is great to visit the Duomo of Monreale and take a bus to Palermo. It's a bit of a walk-up, though. Big room, cosy interiors. Wonderful breakfast, secure parking in the yard. Special thank you to the wonderful hosts! It was very easy to discuss some questions before arrival. Thank you!

A great choice for visiting Monreal, especially by car

Pros: Elvira is a great host. The breakfast is extensiv, enough to feed an army. You can safely park your car on her gated property, perfect if you are traveling by rental car. The property is about a 10-15 mins walk up a steep hill to all the sights in Monreal. I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay

Pros: This breakfast was truly exceptional! The menu was varied, there were several types of pastries to choose from. The ham was high quality and delicious, which added the right touch to the breakfast. The drinks were available in hot and cold versions, which allowed everyone to choose according to their taste. Whether you are a coffee, tea or juice lover. The fruit was also nice. Overall, this breakfast was a great start to the day.

Pros: Nice place with nice owners. A bit run down, could use some refreshment, however very clean and still totally functional. Surroundings is nothing inspiring, but really just a couple of minutes walk from the cathedral. The house is in the middle of a private and beautiful garden, with its own parking. Breakfast was rich and prepared with love. Would recommend !
