Pros: Absolutely fabulous, spacious place, good location and very nice and friendly host. I enjoyed every moment there and definitely would go back. I recommend it to everyone who wants to have a good time in Palermo.

Perfect Italian family home experience

Pros: The flat is massive, and it feels very homely. It has a lot of character and is full of Italian style and traditions. It's walking distance to the old town and all major sites, yet it's located in a quiet neighbourhood. I'd strongly recommend staying here! It felt like I was visiting my imaginary grandma's family house in Sicily.

Cons: I'd prefer a firmer bed, but this is my personal preference.

Pros: It was an excellent flat at 35 minutes walking distance from the central train station, and 15 minutes to the nearest tube station, Palermo Loli, with plenty of shops and things around. The flat was beautiful with plenty of authenticity and made guests comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the sofas, chairs and the massive TV. Very, very nice! There are two bedrooms with one double and two single beds, one shower room and one bathroom with toilets. Very friendly and easily could be adapted for a family of 4. The communication with the host was good, and they arrived on time for my check-in. The kitchen is well-equipped, and it's easy to cook there, or take away from the nearest shops or restaurants.

Cons: I would prefer to have stuff for washing dishes, such as washing-up detergent and a sponge. There was a dishwasher, which I was unsure whether I should use. Additionally, I would have benefited from an explanation of where to find the flat, which was next to a shop.

Recommended

Pros: I couldn't check in as planned because of a train strike. That wasn't a problem for the owner. We kept contact via WhatsApp. The apartment is large, and I found everything I needed. Only some meters away there is a restaurant that seems to feed all inhabitants in this quarter. I guess it is the real Palermo. Supermarket is a 5 minutes walk.

Cons: Even not far from the cathedrale of palermo, I count a 10 min walk, the apartment is at the edge of the old town.

Excellent family home close to real local

Pros: Excellent property, well equipped in every way and furnished to an excellent standard. Good location, enchanting owner who made everything easy and took time to explain things in detail. Would be perfect for families. The location is close to the main attractions, but on a street where locals eat and drink, I recommend the cafe on the street which is great.

Estancia formidable

Pros: El piso y la dueña es muy amable. El piso fue cómodo para los días que estuvimos, hay internet, utensilios, muy limpio y bien cuidado. Parecía que no había vecinos porque son tranquilos y a unos 5min hay un supermercado y varios comercios. Tiene aire acondicionado, Netflix y todo lo necesario para una estancia acogedora.

Cons: En general todo bien, un día se estropeó el ascensor y le escribí a la dueña. Ella lo soluciono al día siguiente. Muy amable.

Pros: Esperienza positiva, Margherita è stata gentilissima a darmi consigli sulla città, sulle attrazioni e sui locali vicino a casa.

Convenience first

Pros: Spacious clean close to the old part of town or train and bus station

Cons: Nothing about the property but Area not so quiet And dirty Elevator did not function everyday which was great for walking upstairs and exercise
