La Kalsa di Somavi

Pros: The hostess was very welcoming. The house was super cozy and comfortable. The location was very good.

Very clean, good sized bedrooms & kitchen, large outside area

Pros: We stayed here a week and all the facilities were very good. Super clean through out and there is a large outside area with table & chairs undercover plus for laundry & drying clothes. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to the historic centre. Restaurants nearby, supermarket about 10 mins and a small but interesting museum over the road. Our arrival was 1 hour late due to a delayed train but Gabriele arranged a (pay for) pick-up & transfer. BTW: the images on google maps are out-dated; the fallen down buildings opposite have been renovated and turned into accommodation.

Cons: Plenty of hot water in the shower but then it goes cold, then too hot, then cold, then…

Pros: We had a greatstay at La Kalsa di Somavi. The location was the best part of our stay as it is in a lively, safe part of the city just steps away from many bars, restaurants, and parks. The hosts were friendly and responsive. One of the hosts lives in an apartment just above the property, so she was there to meet us and explain the rules of the house. She does not speak a lot of English but we communicated via Google Translate. The apartment itself is great - there is a spacious kitchen, small living room, good wifi and the shower has good water pressure. Overall we were very comfortable.

Cons: The doors are folding doors so they do not fully close, this means that you can hear other people moving around in the apartment fairly clearly. There were a few ants in one of the bedrooms despite not leaving any food in there. These were minor issues.

Pros: Perfect location to explore Palermo, spacious terrace, and well equipped kitchen.

Ungewöhnlicher Urlaub, direkt in Palermo Kalsa

Pros: This apartment in Palermo is a great apartment. First all communication with the owner and the check in was easy. We arrived, and it was clean and nice. The location of the apartment is superb - there are 10 or even 15 restaurants in a couple of minutes walking distance. Also the sea is reachable in only 4 minutes walking - wow! (You can not swim). It is a real part of Palermo, and we felt safe. Last not least in about one minute there is a small shop/ kiosk, where you can buy water and some wonderful homemade food, too. Overall really happy with the stay, would always recommend this apartment to friends or family visiting Palermo.

Eine Oase im pulsierendem Palermo

Pros: Really great location! Quiet, close to the sea and yet you can reach all the sights on foot. I can only recommend the accommodation on the first floor with a great terrace. The kitchen is super equipped.Parking is possible nearby.

A well sited, well appointed appartment

Pros: The property is well furnished with 2 bedrooms and a separate lounge and a kitchen. Also has a decent outdoor dining area. Good WiFi throughout, and a very well appointed kitchen that you could cook any meal – if you had the inclination. The property is looked after by Maria, who lives in the flat above, and is happy to help. Word of warning, don’t have all the air conditioning on and turn the oven on – it knocks the power out! Easy walk into the main part of the city, and many restaurants within 5/10 minutes walk. Free parking outside the property. Be warned the sat-nav will take you a few metres away from the property, look for the 3 blocks with large street art on the end – it’s the righthand one.

Cons: A little difficult to find. As mentioned, look for the 3 blocks with street art on the end, and go for the far right block. As ever, only one set of keys even though there were two of us.

We enjoyed our stay in comfort with all of the amenities we needed!

Pros: Clean and well-appointed. Good communication from host. We had everything we needed. Air conditioning was excellent! For the ladies- hair dryer was excellent-better than the hotels in Italy. I would recommend this place to everyone I know and, everyone I don’t know!😁

Cons: Next door was a group of young women(?)-perhaps tourists in another Rental unit(English speaking). They were in the garden area making alot of noise until a least 12:30am one night. This has nothing to do with our host or his property. However, I thought you might like to know.

Pros: We was very happy with our stay,the hosts were very friendly and lots of help. Would highly recommend this accommodation. Close to the city centre and restaurants. Thank you-Daniel

Cons: Bardzo głośne sprężarki klimatyzacji. Problemy z ciepłą wodą.
