Pros: The room was beautiful, thoughtful detail and well equipped. The location is amazing and our host, Matteo was as well. Went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and supply us with useful information. Felt like home. Will definitely recommend.

a pleasant stay

Pros: Check-in was smooth and straightforward. The location is convenient, with suitable parking available outside the ZTL area, which made arriving by car very easy. The place was quiet at night, allowing for a good rest. The bedding was comfortable, with proper quilt (not thin sheets), which was especially appreciated. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Pros: Really good location, close to the touristic centre, but also very close to the ZTL border, which made parking a lot easier

Pros: It was among Italian residents so we could see how they live. At the same time it was close to the centre of Palermo. The place itself was comfortable and welcoming. Our host was a great communicator and extremely helpful.

Cons: A bit noisy at times

Pros: It was absolutely great! The host was very generous and helpful! The apartment is really nice and so close to everything. We made everything by foot.

Pros: Nice location, clean and easy check-in. Has kitchen for cooking and good bathroom. Bus stops is nearby and main attractions as well.

Cozy, clean, great location, and incredible hospitality

Pros: From the moment I booked, our host Matteo went above and beyond—sending helpful tips for sightseeing and dining, staying in touch throughout, and even offering to store our bags a bit longer after checkout. The accommodation itself was cozy, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully prepared, with great touches like air conditioning and a chilled bottle of Prosecco waiting in the fridge. The location is fantastic too—just a short walk from the Norman Palace and other key attractions. I’d give Matteo’s hospitality 20 out of 10 if I could. I would definitely stay at MaMa5 again!

Definitely worth staying here!

Pros: Great location very near to the palazzo dei Normanni. It was quiet at night and felt very safe with the alarm and camera outside. We chose for self check-in, which went really smooth. Nevertheless we had a great contact with the host, giving us a lot of info on where te eat, go, … The apartment itself was equipped with everything you need. Great bed, shower, drinks in the fridge,.. I would highly recommend!

Cons: Nothing really

Would stay again

Pros: All that you need for staying a few nights! A decent kitchen combined with a bedroom. Small but fully functioning bathroom.

Cons: Very thin door and window meaning that you might be woken up by random noise in the alleys. With that said, I only woke up once when some person honked a car at 03:30, but after that I slept like a baby. We stayed in april and it was a little bit cold but using the oven as a radiator for half an hour kept the apartment warm for the rest of the night.

Pros: Really lovely apartment in an ideal location. Host Matteo was super friendly and very proactive ensuring our stay went smoothly. He also provided a guide of things to do in Palermo! The place was also really clean. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!
