Thoroughly enjoyable stay in Palermo

Pros: Excellent location, easy walking distance to all the landmarks and many restaurants, with a local supermarket for provisions. The apartment was very well appointed with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Salvatore was a very accommodating host, helpful with recommendations and put us in touch with a friendly driver - Dario who was also excellent!

Pros: Great location not noisy but in the center. It was opportunity to park the car near the apartment. The market round the corner. The apartment is well equipped.

Cons: The bed was so squeaky. It was impossible to close door in the bathroom - that is so uncomfortable when there are 4 persons. Not the easy issue to put luggage upstairs but everyone wrote about it.

Shallah apartment is fantastic!

Pros: The apartment was perfect. It had everything we needed including umbrella which we needed on our first night. Beds were so comfortable. Located in an area accessible to all Palermo sites. Our host was so helpful in every way and very responsive. Great for a family of 4.

Cons: The entry stairs are narrow, so pack accordingly. Harder to get up/down with large cases.

Pros: This is a beautiful property with the most kind and caring host who gave us lots of brilliant advice. Decorated wonderfully, perhaps a little quirky, but completely to our taste
