Scily trip

Pros: The accommodation was lovely and very clean. The host was very welcoming and helpful and very accommodating. She gave us advice on shops restaurants and information on trips and getting around.

Cons: Trying to find the accommodation was a little tricky and outside the building was a little worrying initially as dark and slightly run down and there was building work being done on the building opposite.

Well appointed Palermo Retreat

Pros: This is a beautifully renovated space just a few steps away from one of Palermo’s famous streets. Everything you need including a fully stocked kitchen, couch to chill out on, beautiful bed linen, laundry and stunning bathroom. A stones throw from the harbour and a good supermarket. Aurelia was an excellent communicator and welcomed us with fresh Camillo (oh my!!) and recommendations for restaurants and local services.

Cons: It’s a little dark (but this is useful in summer as it is a cool haven to return to)
