Perfect stay in the heart of Palermo.

Pros: The location is perfect for exploring the central part of Palermo -- nearly everything was within a 20-minute walk (and most were under 10 minutes). Beautiful apartment with soaring ceilings and every convenience you could ask for. Riccardo is an amazing host!

Cons: Not the owner's fault, but Waze/Google Maps will try to send you through the heart of the Ballaro Market to reach the apartment. Being a great host, Riccardo met us and drove us to the apartment, going so far as holding a parking space for us. Also, due to its central location there can be a bit of street noise (mostly loud, 2-stroke scooters) -- closing the thick shutters helped mitigate most of it but we still used a white noise machine. I am a very light sleeper and I still felt that I got a good night's sleep.
