BALLARHOUSE

Sensational Location in the historic market area

Pros: We loved the location being right above the famous Ballar street markets. Lots of street food and drinks and the energy of the sellers yelling and having fun every day. This location is excellent to walk to all the main attractions and we loved our stay very much. We felt very safe walking everywhere.

Cons: Be aware that being near the markets is noisy. Bring ear plugs and expect energetic and exciting local culture.

Perfect stay, totally recommend :)

Pros: Our stay in the property was excellent. Apartment is very cozy, well equipped and near to the city center. The rooms and bathroom were super clean. Host Valeria is super friendly person, she was always willing to help.

Cons: None

Amazing apartment, would highly recommend

Pros: The apartment is beautiful. It is so spacious and light. The location is perfect. The owner and her brother were so lovely and accommodating, we checked in early and checked out late without any issues.

An apartment that gives you the quintessential Palermo experience!!!

Pros: This is the perfect apartment if you want to right be in the middle of the old town and get the feel of the soul of Palermo. It is a great combination of modern standard within a very ancient part of the city. You are basically few steps away from some of the most visited sites of the city and the Ballaro market is just around the corner. Valeria, the hostess is extremely kind and helpful. Beds are comfortable and the WiFi is working well.

Cons: This is a location in a very lively part of the old city. There are bars and restaurants open until late in the night with music and a certain level of noise. We were not too bothered about it and my husband who is sensitive to noise still managed to sleep. It is, however, good to be aware of this in advance but the location and the beauty of the apartment makes up for this slight issue! :)

Pros: Very kind and friendly owner, apartment was very pretty and modern.

Cons: Noisy street.

Amazing!

Pros: It looked amazing, it was really clean and the host was very helpful. There was coffee, salt, oul and vinegar for free in the apartment and also in the bathroom there was everything you need. There were a lot of fresh towels and the apartment spelt good. It was on the main square of the market so everything is near by.

Best stay in Palermo I've ever had thanks to the apartment on Via Porta di Castro :)

Pros: Amazing stay in Ballarohouse - apartment even more beautiful than I was expecting - high ceilling, super clean, beautifully decorated, friendly people arround and the best host Valeria - super helpful and welcoming. I couldn't ask for more, for sure we will return! <3 thank you and grazie mille :) Highly Recommended place to stay in Palermo!

Pros: It was a wonderfull stay, great location if you want to explore palermo. Beautifull appartment, it was clean and tidy. Its very cental so its good if you want to see the historical things palermo has to offer.

Cons: Nothing wrong with the appertment itself. But keep in mind that its above the market, it can be a little loud at times. Usually during the day

Cons: Niente

Pros: Appartamento centralissimo in palazzo storico nel quartiere Ballarò ,recentemente ristrutturato e ammobiliato. Ben insonorizzato. Dieci minuti a piedi da cattedrale e Palazzo reale. Host gentile e disponibile!
