Conte Federico Apartments

Pros: Matteo ,our host,was very welcoming alwhen we arrived - he was about most days after this and always quick to help us with anything we needed. The apartment was small but fine for a short stay,and the location was great for visiting all the parts of Palermo we wanted to see.

Cons: The kitchen could have been slightly better equipped ,for example there was supposed be a toaster which we never found, and it would have benefitted from a few more plates and cups,but it was adequate. We had also read that there would be a washing machine,but this apartment didn't have one, and some basic cleanjng equipment such as cloths , detergent and a vroom would have been useful. There was a little.bar outside the window and this was sometimes a bit noisy on certain evenings,but only to be expected in a city .

Excellent

Pros: Lovely apartment, clean, spacious. Matteo was very helpful. Location is excellent - and very safe. You simply turn right from the apartment and are quickly in a central area full of shops, restaurants etc. Left is the market which is empty at night, so no point in going there at night. Palermo in general felt very, very safe.

Cons: Nothing. Take advantage of Matteo's offer of arranging a lift from the airport for 50e - we paid 25e each. It cuts out a huge level of stress. On going back, you'll find the train easy, but upon arrival it's great having the lift.

A fantastic experience of inner city Palermo.

Pros: Very central. Walking distance to the main attractions. Close to the Ballaro' street market. Great views and very helpful staff.

Cons: Nothing. All good.

Pros: Matteo was very accommodating, helping us with recommendations and booking taxis.

Cons: The front door was troublesome to open

Pros: Matteo was an excellent host, very quick in replying and very helpful with any requests. We got an upgrade on the flat - it was very cute.

Pros: Stunning location in the historical center of Palerme Calm of the apartments which is well equiped. Warm welcome from Matteo who is always happy to help, give advices and share good locations for food and tourism

Pros: Great location, close to everything and nice appartment with very nice terrace. Matteo was a great and very helpful host.

Cons: If you are tall, note that the rooftop appartment has a sloping ceiling. No big issue 🙂

Clean comfortable accommodation.

Pros: Matteo was waiting to greet us when we arrived to give us the keys. It was very easy to communicate with him on Whatsapp. He also booked us a taxi to go to the airport on our day of departure and this arrived on time. Do go on a tour of the Palazzo Conte Federico next door as this is very interesting.

It was perfect 5 days in Palermo.

Pros: All of it! We have chosen the penthouse apartment with terrace which was a great idea given the weather. Location was perfect, walking distance to all Palermo Markets, buses, train station. Matteo is a great host ! It’s a central location but very quiet at night.
