Agave Scopello

Pros: The view was amazing and the location is very peaceful. A short walk to the centre of scopello where there are some amazing restaurants to eat out. Super comfortable bed, fairly well equipped in the kitchen. The hosts were accommodating and gave some good tips for the local area. Scopello fairly busy, especially on the road along past the Tonnaro and to get to the beach below us but this house was a quiet haven away from all that.

Cons: It would have been good if there were some additional items such as dishwasher tablets, cleaning materials - things you don’t travel with generally - especially considering the price of the accommodation. It’s a steep drive and watch your car on the bottom as you turn in - easy to scrape it underneath due to the gradient. Located near the beach but not an easy walk to and the drive was a hassle. We went down the coast past the scopello market to the beach. Easy to park, quiet, lots of local families at the weekend and great for swimming

Pros: Really nice house, well equipped in the top of a hill in a quiet location. The owners very very helpful and flexible with check-in time

Beautiful Scopello home with great hosts.

Pros: Beautiful home with a lovely view. Very well located just out of Scopello Village and is an easy walk, plus lots of activities to do around with a car. The hosts were lovely and very helpful, sharing wonderful local recommendations.

A perfect secluded spot on the hill

Pros: Lovely gardens with huge sage and rosemary bushes! Our toddler loved running around looking at the geckos and butterflies. All facilities that we need including kitchen crockery and linen. Nice bed and nice shower. Definitely drive to the beach and pay for parking as steep uphill on way back with all your stuff (we have a toddler as well in tow!) the beach just down the road is really something special. Outdoor shower nice touch too. Air con in the master bedroom and the lounge, the lounge air con will reach the smaller second bed room. Angela provided a cot for us for an extra charge if €10/night. The washing machine was also very handy. We didn’t use the dishwasher but handy if you need.

Lovely peaceful spot to relax and not too far from a gorgeous beach.

Pros: Angela was lovely, gave us great directions and local information and was very hospitable.

Cons: It was a wee bit far to walk to the restaurants in town in the dark.

Pros: Amazing location with a beautiful sea view, nice garden, very hospitable guests that welcomed us upon our arrival. The house felt very cozy and cute. I would say it's even more beautiful than the photos.

Cons: The wifi connection was quite weak, furtunately we didn't really need it.

Pros: It was a very nice little house with a stunning sea view. The owner even gave us a very delicious Sicily dessert when we arrived

Pros: Perfect little house with great views of the coast. Just up the hill from the beach, close to village square with restaurants. All walking distance but we have 2 small children so the hills were too much to ask of them so we drove everywhere and parking cost 5-7euros so be prepared for that.

A wonderful stay

Pros: we absolutely loved staying here - the villa is at the top of the hill at the end of the track so completely private with a cliff surrounding the rear and amazing views out to sea from the front. there is an incredible profusion of birds in the garden and if you are birdwatchers like us this is an incredible bonus! go straight down the hill and you reach a beauiful little cove beach - go left and you wak for 10 mins to the Zingaro nature reserve - go right and you reach Scopello for restaurants and bars. we didn't have a car and the owners very kindly gave us a lift to stock up at the shop 3kms away when we arrived. the villa is beautifully appointed with everything you need and extremely comfortable beds. Thank you we shall return!
