Palmar Boutique Hotel

Excellent!

Pros: Very friendly staff (reception, restaurant, house keeping, etc.). Good room, spacey and quiet as requested. Friendly restaurant service (breakfast and a couple of times dinner). The hotel is new and the investment must have been huge.

Cons: The dinner restaurant can be a bit better: their pizza’s were not so good. Their fried seafood is OK. Breakfast was fine.

Special Hotel which I would highly recommend

Pros: This is a very special hotel and is newly built. Great restaurant with great food and wine. Room was special with access to the pool for that morning swim or whenever you feel like a swim. Great view of the sea. Staff were exceptional. We will definitely visit again.

Cons: Nothing. Pity we didn’t stay longer

Fantastic Hotel & great base to explore Cefalu & Palermo

Pros: My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Palmar. The location is great as it's a 5/10 minute walk to the train station and a short train ride to Cefalu and Palermo. Additionally, it's right across from the beach which has lovely warm waters and a few nice bars and restaurants (perfect for watching the sunset). The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and spoke great English (and French) too. Drinks by the pool were brilliant, the breakfast was superb and the pizzas and pastas in the outdoor restaurant in the evening were fantastic. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back soon in the not-too-distant future.

Cons: The hotel itself is brand new and there were a few small snagging issues which we noticed with the room - but nothing which had a massive impact on our stay. I've emailed the hotel to let them know and these are all likely to be easily resolved.

Ridiculously underrated and underpriced. Fantastic hotel

Pros: The property was only 2 months old when we arrived. It sits right in front of the beach. The staff were very welcoming and eager to help. The pool is heated and never crowded. The chef knows what he/she is doing and is rather creative. As regards the rooms, they are far larger than one would expect. We booked 2 rooms. Both had large outside spaces. The first room was about 55 sq m in size with an outside terrace of about 30s m, the view looked out onto the sea. The second, at the back of the property was about 30/35 sqm but had a terrace of about 25 sqm and a garden of about 30sq m. The second room also came with a hot tub. Honestly it felt as though the rooms were underpriced for what they offered. But the best thing about the hotel were the staff. They went above and beyond

Cons: The only slight drawback is that the hotel sits a bit outside Cefalu, it’s a €60/70 return trip. If you want to move around I suggest renting a car. However, if you want a peaceful retreat, it’s a great location.

Brand new, pool, beach front, nice restaurant

Pros: It's brand new! It has a pool and it's also beach front. The sunsets are amazing :) Also there's a private parking available.

Cons: Some insect/mosquito screens would be necessary for the windows in the rooms

Cons: The noise în the lobby. The door in the room has poor sound isolation, you can hear all the sound from the lobby and stairs.

Perfect beach get away for high quality service and vacation

Pros: Exceptional staff, brand new and high class hotel with stylish furniture. Really high quality exceptional food. Impeccable service, always available, super friendly and highly professional. We were quite positively surprised by this hotel and team. We want to especially thank Giulia for the great guest experience, she made our stay memorable with her professionalism and kindness. Also a big shoutout to the chef and restaurant staff for surprisingly high standard and delicious food. There is a private pool on the property with comfortable sunbeds and shower. The hotel is Beach front, but with a nature beach. But you can stay at the beach club just in front of the hotel for a reasonably priced day price.

Pros: L’établissement est neuf et bien situé géographiquement, à 20min de Cefalù : un coup de cœur pour nous… On peut garer la voiture devant ou à en face dans une rue peu fréquentée en octobre. La literie est parfaite, les salles de bain spacieuses et les rideaux occultants d’une grande qualité. L’hôtel possède un restaurant où la cuisine règne en maître ! Tout le personnel de l’hôtel est au petit soin avec ces clients : de l’accueil au service de chambre, en passant par les serveurs et serveuses : un bel enthousiasme y règne !!

super entspannend

Pros: sehr gute Ausstattung, tolles Essen, ruhige Lage schöner geschützt liegender Pool.

Cons: In der Nebensaison keinerlei Leben am Strand. War uns bewusst aber dann doch sehr ausgestorben. Strand weitläufig aber nicht sehr aufgeräumt und steinig.

Pros: Soe, siiras ja hooliv personal. Täiesti uus hotell. Ülihea asukoht. Lähedus lummavale väikelinnale Cefalu.
