La casa nel Borgo

Perfect stay in sensational Scilly

Pros: Loved the location. Perfect, right on the square, in the heart of the village. Cute house, full of charm and a really comfortable home from home. Great host too 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Cons: Loved it all

Nothing short of amazing!

Pros: The location was the BEST! Right in the centre where you want to be and walking distance from heaps of beautiful beaches! Kitchen was nice and had everything we need and the bathroom was great! Would absolutely recommend!!

Cons: Nothing!!

A charming stay in the heart of the town

Pros: Perfect location! Just a few steps away from the main square and all the restaurants. The apartment was clean and spacious and we loved sitting in the doorway with a glass of wine enjoying the village life. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and we would definitely stay here again.

Brilliant!

Pros: Brilliant property in the perfect location to explore Scopello. Host was incredbly helpful and friendly and very communicative at all times. Super flexible when I made various last minute adjustments to how many people were in the booking. Apartment was clean and spacious with comfy beds and aircon. Thank you!

Pros: Simple but cosy place with two large rooms to accommodate our family of 5 within an authentic village, walking distance from the natural reserve of Zingaro.

Great stay in the center of Scopello

Pros: Best location, spacious, clean, easy check in with lock box. Host was friendly and responsive.

Cons: Not a negative for us but something to note if you have accessibility needs - the parking is actually offsite, about a 5 minute walk down a cobble road and it’s just a bit of grass next to another property (i.e. not secure). Bathroom basics (hand soap, shower stuff etc) and kitchen basics (coffee etc) not provided.

Amazing- thank you so much!

Pros: Amazing central location with great facilities and space. Lovely cafe at the end of the road and lots of restaurants close by for dinner or lunch. We asked if there was an iron and originally there was not but one was then provided for us! Amazing host with great recommendations too and easily contactable when needed. We visited to attend a wedding at Tonnaro di Scopello- would definitely recommend a trip here as it is stunning and very close by.

Cons: We loved everything about the property- the only thing I would say is definitely plan how to get around as some of the walking routes suggested by google maps are not the easiest in the heat!

Pros: A great location right in the heart of the local piazza. A very pretty street. We had free parking but it was a five minute walk away.

Cons: Unfortunately, I would have to say the bed linen and the main mattress have met the expiry dates. The bottom sheet was very piled and there was a very deep crevice on one side of the mattress. We stayed a week and enjoyed the apartment but would suggest if you have access to a washing machine, it would be good also to have an iron and ironing board. A kettle would also be good for tourists.

Pros: The location is superb for Scopello--very relaxing indeed.

Scopello

Pros: There was a problem with a leak in one of the rooms but Francesco arranged for us to stay in another house just 300m from the square. The house didn’t have wifi but we were able to access the town house any time we wanted to when we needed to check emails etc.

Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like. We loved everything. Francesco was regularly in contact checking that everything was okay. We spent loads of our week in the Zingaro national park which is magnificent.
