Beautiful apartment in excellent location

Pros: Excellent location. The apartment is very clean and spacious and is well equipped.

Cons: We didn't realise that we didn't completely have the place to ourselves. Although the host was very discreet and we hardly saw her,, it was not what we expected.

Lovely clean accommodation in a great location

Pros: The apartment is in a great location in walking distance to the main sights and in a well-to-do, very safe feeling area of the centre. There are lots of bars, cafes and restaurants around the apartment so you don't have to walk far to eat great food in the evening after a long day of sightseeing. It was very very clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable. Adele, the host, was very friendly and helpful giving us information about nearby supermarkets and places to eat. We had a nice stay.

Cons: It wasn't clear at the time of booking that you're actually sharing the flat with the hosts, and to get to the bathroom - which is for your use only - you have to go out of your little suite of rooms (bedroom and lounge area) and into the shared corridor. So that was a little unexpected. Having said that, for the whole 4 days we were there we never bumped into our host, who seemed to be out of the flat most of the time. The bathroom is very dated and needs modernising.

Pros: Adele and her partner could not have been more welcoming and I’d highly recommend staying here. It was a wonderful home stay, with your own bedroom, sitting room, and bathroom along a corridor. The breakfast in Adele’s large, shared kitchen was delicious - local style and light - something yummy from a local patisserie, fruit, biscuits, coffee. Yes there was a little bit of noise from outside at night, but we slept very well! You’ll be staying in a beautiful historic apartment in the centre of the city - walking distance to almost all attractions. Can’t wait to come back and stay again! Thank you! X

Perfect location to see Palermo and get the bus to other locations (Mondello ecc)

Cons: Breakfast consists in espresso capsules, marmalade, butter, yogurt, and rusks.. it’s not our typical breakfast..

Pros: It was such a pleasure to stay in this cozy, super clean and tastefully decorated apartment! The very kind and welcoming owners have thought of every detail to make the guests feel comfortable. Perfect location, walking distance to the must see places in Palermo. Looking forward to the next trip to Palermo. Will definitely stay in Casa di Amelie again!

Pleasant stay and lovely place

Pros: Very clean and spacious place. Welcoming hosts. Could even make an agreement for late check out. Loved the bakery just next door.

Cons: Bit noisy due to old-style windows, but that’s how it is in such old buildings. Didn’t disturb too much. Breakfast is basic, but many options available to pep up your breakfast just meters away.
