A Sicilian apartment like from the movies in the center of Palermo

Pros: Very Sicilian apartment. Sooo good location, close to the main attractions and great restaurants. Easy check-in. There is free parking near the apartment. We really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent location, bit loud

Pros: The location was really great, super close to the touristic areas. The property managers were super friendly and easygoing, and the communication was uncomplicated via WhatsApp. The apartment was clean and well equipped.

Cons: The beds are made of metal and made terrible noise at every little movement. This was a bit annoying. And while the apartment is located quite central, it is very noisy. Unfortunately, you hear everything from the street, a bit difficult to rest.

I enjoyed Palermo and being in close proximity to walk everywhere.

Pros: The location was excellent. I enjoyed that we could right out of the property and walk to all the major locations. It was also walking distance from the train, which was a plus. I loved the neighborhood. Neighbors were super nice and full of information.

Cons: Nothing. Everything was pleasant.

2 nights in Palermo near train station

Pros: Good location very close to the Ballarat markets and the train station. Walking distance to the cathedral and Norman Palace, and the port. Palermo is very large so difficult to find an area that’s perfect for everything. Check in went very smoothly and the man carried all our bags up to the second floor apartment, which was fantastic. very friendly neighbour said ciao to us every morning.

Cons: Wifi never worked for us. Provider issue? Shower head broken since previous guest. Host was very apologetic so hope that is fixed for the next guests as we left very early.

Pros: Spacious, good kitchen facilities, balcony, AC, comfortable beds, good location (2 minutes from Lidl and 10 minutes from train station)

Cons: Shower head was broken, no bin, kettle didn’t work

Pros: The owner was very kindly let us check in early and hand out the keys in person. The house was very clean and spacious, on level 2, easy to reach the main street.

Cons: The neighbourhood was a bit noisy at weekend night.
