No-one told us Sicily had a monsoon season!

Pros: Secure private location only minutes walk from the beach. Very comfortable beds and pillows, apartment generally well equipped although kitchen small.

Cons: Being chased about our departure time. We left well before we needed to but got chased for texts as to whether we'd left. Very annoying, especially as I was driving across the island. Otherwise our hosts were courteous in their absence and just left us to it which I greatly appreciate.

Pros: Excellent accommodation and super close to the beach! Has everything you need and an excellent shower. Maria met us at the gate even though we were late for our check in, provided fresh oranges from their tree, and even hooked us up with a ride to the airport after our stay. Very hospitable and very kind people. Would definitely stay here again.

Cons: Irme.
