Ashur apartments

Great location, private rocky beach and fully equipped apartment. Mind the noisy neighbours though.

Cons: Loud neighbours starting arguing every morning at 8:30. Audible noise from the street

Pros: Swimming pool was excellent watter super clean. Rooms were nice clean and organised , good choices for weekend holiday or for more days. I highly recommend.

Cons: Bins are only available in the evening and were always overflowing. The apartment is a bit small for sleeping 5 people. There's 3 beds in total, the bedroom has a large comfy double bed. In the living room/kitchen/dining area, there are 2 beds, a large double (sofa bed, which is very comfortable) & a single bed (camp bed). The camp bed is not suitable for kids over 12.

Great experience in this beautiful location with all closeby and more quiet than busy Palermo.

Pros: Great location with sea view from the balcony. Dinner on rooftop terrace in sunset with sea view. Fine apartment. Beautiful Beach nearby and loads of cafés and resraurants. Bus to Palermo, no need for a car. Beautiful Nature reserve closeby as well as a hike to Mount Pellegrino. Great, friendly and helpful staff that fixed small problems with electricity immediately.

Cons: Pool and private Beach closed from mid September. (As memtioned when booking) Not all staff speaks English. Many tourists in Mondello. Some Traffic in front of the aoartment on Saturday nights, but spundproof Doors.

Feeling like at home

Pros: Ashur Appartements is a perfect place to spend your vacation and to have a perfect time in Mondello. Close to all bars and restaurants but in a calm area at the same time. Amazing swimming pool and access to the private beach is a great bonus to your stay. Vincenzo was super kind and helpful. We felt like at home. All the apartments are perfectly equipped. I advice you this place

Pros: I must separate my review into two sections. The owner and the apartment itself. The owner was really nice, supportive and kind. He supported us in many ways, like arranging airport shuttle, guided us to paediatrician, and also accepted that we stay two hours longer in the apartment and the do check-out later. His reaction time is very good! The apartment was old but acceptably clean and well-equipped. Almost everything you need is available. It is close to Piazza Mondello. There are a bunch of good restaurants, a supermarket, drug store, butchery, bakery and confectionary there. Many of them are not registered in Google Maps, but they exist!

Cons: There were some negative points which I give them only as a feedback for further improvements: - The apartment was not the same as I booked in the booking.com. The photos were completely different from booking. - The internet connection did not work in the first days. It was, however, fixed by the owner later. - There were some dogs which were barking in the night very often. I am not sure if I am right, but I have this feeling that some of the apartments were occupied with non-tourists and people were living there. I must say again, that this is not clear to me!

like staying for a spell in Grandma's house

Pros: spacious rooms with everything one might need. lovely hosts.

Cons: rather strange location in large dated complex

Pros: A great place. Great view. And very accommodating.
