Fabulous 10/10 house to spend your holidays in Sicily

Pros: Location, sea views from the terrace are outstanding. From Castellamare you can visit lots of tourist attractions (segesta, Palermo, san Vito lo capo, erice, trapani, …) all in max 1h driving from the house The swimming pool is big and with outstanding views either House very clean and comfortable for 6 people with 3 bathrooms We will definitively recommend the house to anyone visiting Sicily Hosts welcome us in first person and also gave us a lot of good recommendations

Cons: Minor things: suggest to improve a bit the kitchenware: more plates, more wine & long drink glasses and more items for cooking such as wooden utensils and cutting boards and ideally to include a dishwasher

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Cristina and would happily return.

Pros: Stunning location with beautiful mountain and sea views. We loved being up on the hill with the gorgeous view and quiet, but only a short drive from beaches, restaurants and shops. Fabulous swimming pool loved by the family. The house was immaculate with great outdoor and indoor living spaces. Francesco and Cristina were wonderful hosts who clearly wanted us to enjoy our stay. Communication and check in/out was easy. Thank you!

Cons: Leaving :) Worth knowing that you need swim caps for the pool, but this was fine.

Comfortable space and wonderful host

Pros: Villa Cristina is nestled in a quiet valley in a gated community. It has lovely views over the valley towards the sea. We had a fabulous 5 nights here and Francesco made sure we were comfortable and all our needs were met. He was delightful and very helpful and we appreciated his hospitality. The villa is well situated (by car) to reach Castellamare, Scopello and Zingaro and many other must see sites. It is well equipped, has a lovely outdoor seating space and garden and private parking. Thanks for a great stay Francesco!

Fabulous, modern accommodation in a great location

Pros: The location was great - it was quiet but within easy reach of Castellammare de Golfo (less than 10 mins drive). The view was amazing and teh property had everything you could need.

Cons: It's a little bit nit picking, but the kitchen could do with more work service - there was actually sufficient space to put a chopping board, however in the grand scheme of things it was manageable by using the table.

A relaxing and quiet place to stay.

Pros: We had an amazing time at the property. It was within easy reach (by car) of the beach, a supermarket and Castellamare de Golfo. It was very clean, quiet and relaxing, the shared pool only had a few people in it because of the time of year. The house was well-stocked with kitchen items, and we could sit outside at the table or on the sofas. We had a great holiday there! Francesco always replied very quickly to questions via WhatsApp.

Cons: Nothing! It was great.

Pros: Dear Francesco and Cristina, thank you for the very nice stay and warm welcome. We could see you run this place with love. All the best! —- Very friendly and welcoming hosts, Francesco and Cristina. Spacious villa and garden with several balconies and terraces. Quite location with very nice views over mountains and sea and in close vicinity to Castellamarre del Golfo (nice restaurants and supermarkets) and the beautify beaches of the north east coast. With 3 sleeping rooms and 3 bathrooms it was very well equipped for a family of 4. Plenty of seat opportunities outside (sun and shade) as well as bbq provided.

Cons: Nothing we didn’t like. Small suggestion would be to provide coffees cups (for regular coffee) that do fit under the Nespresso machine ;) Further, some mattresses where a bit soft to our like but swapping with the kids provided a good solution.

Schön, aber Haushälfte braucht ein Update!

Pros: Die Lage- der Ausblick vom Pool zum Meer, das Haus war nur 20 Meter vom Pool entfernt, Berge und Meer beim Frühstück auf der Veranda, einfach nur traumhaft. Klimaanlagen in allen Schlafzimmern! Der Pool ist immer gekühlt und erfrischend, wird anscheinend ohne Chor gereinigt und wird sehr gepflegt! Die Strände sind in ca 15-20 Minuten mit Auto gut erreichbar und die Stadt Castellammare ist ebenfalls in 15 Minuten zu erreichen.

Cons: Das Masterbett (grünes Zimmer) hatte leider durchgelegende Matratzen, man rollte immer zur Mitte. Klimaanlagen leider nicht unten und die Anlage im roten Schlafzimmer, zieht genau auf die Gesichter, ohne geht es aber nicht (haben einfach am Fußende geschlafen :)) Die Möbel kommen langsam in die Jahre, die Couch ist leider nicht bequem, das Geländer ist ebenfalls geflickt, die Duscharmaturen blättern ab.. Der alte Holztisch der draußen stand und schon deutliche Gebrauchsspuren hatte, ist uns leider kaputt gegangen, man sagte uns, der Tisch wurde 2024 teuer gekauft und um keinen Streit im Urlaub anzufangen, haben wir 150€ bezahlt, aber bei Instagram sieht man eindeutige den gleichen Tisch ebenfalls mit der selben Tischdecke und die Bilder sind vom 17.5.2022!! Ich habe kein Problem wenn man etwas dazusteuert, aber angelogen werden, mag ich nicht:( Die Anlage wird sehr gut gepflegt, aber das bedeutet auch, dass ständig laute Arbeiten verrichtet werden- morgens und auch mittags mit Motorsäge werden die Palmen geschnitten, etc. Das hat mich das ein oder andere Mal gestört, wenn ich in Ruhe ein Buch draussen lesen oder mal ausschlafen wollte. Die kleinen Mülleimer sind leider sehr windanfällig und werden leider oft the Berg hinabgeblasen- hier würde eine Haltekonstruktion gut sein. Hinweis: Parkgebühren an Stränden und in der Stadt- für den Tag mind 5-10€.
