La Piccola Formica Charme Rooms

Location was good & Alba was very helpful and provide us with a lot of nice tips to enjoy Palermo

Pros: The location was good and Alba was very helpful and provide us with a lot of nice tips for restaurants and unmissable sightseeing places. Very happy

Pros: Clean, comfortable room. Tea,coffee and water supplied along with some breakfast toast and jams. Kitchenette with a certain amount of equipment available to use. Secure front door and room doors. Pegs and a drying line were available for wet beach things.

Cons: Mattress - bed was comfortable but fitted sheet would not stay fitted. Location - a LOT of traffic noise meant that the windows had to stay closed (although a pair of ear plugs were supplied), Aircon was very good. The location meant that for most trips buses had to be used (although bus stops were nearby) buses were a bit irregular in turning up. It was a good 20 min walk to town centre, 35 to railway station.

Pros: All recommendations for this accommodation. The location of La Piccola Formica Charme Rooms is excellent. Next to Porta Nuova, a 5-minute walk from the cathedral and within walking distance of all tourist attractions in Palermo. A 7-8 minute walk from the Palermo Pallazo Reale-Orleans train station connected to the airport. Self-check-in and self-check-out is possible, which meant a lot to us, considering that we arrived at the facility around midnight. Our hostess Alba is, in one word, wonderful.

Cons: We were accommodated in a room above the other rooms in this accommodation, which is accessed by a steep wooden staircase that could pose a problem for people with reduced mobility.

Perfect location & excellent host!

Pros: Alba is an amazing host !! So friendly & knowledgeable about Palermo Perfect location

Pros: Alba is so great, providing lots of information, where to eat, where to go….etc, with promptly response. The location is good, close to all the attractions. The room is fully equipped also with some “pampering” stuff❤️

Highly recommended

Pros: Great location, 3 minute walk to Old Palermo. Very well equipped and comfortable room. Very good recommendations regarding where to eat visit, travel, taxis etc. Highly recommended.

Perfect place to explore Palermo

Pros: It was super clean and everything worked perfectly. The location is also super central and next to the main street so it was very easy to just hop out for a drink or bite, etc. The hosts were fantastic and super accommodating! Their recommendations are also lovely. We had a great time.

Cons: Nothing:)

Yes! The best of Palermo!

Pros: The room is amazing. Located close to the train station that connects to the airport and many other areas around Palermo and close to the main street of the old town. Walking distance to many places. The room is well thought in every detail. Really! The best of the best! We even had a terrace! Amenities were well thought in a way you don’t have to worry about small things. Coffee machine and coffee pods, kettle, daily cleaning, bottle of water replaced daily in the fridge…it is more than a 10 out of 10, I totally recommend and will get back! Easy communication, payment and good recommendations and explanations about the city and experiences. Big thanks to Alba and her team at Piccola Formica!

Pros: Location was perfect for exploring Palermo old district. The staff were very nice and helpful. It was a bonus to have a balcony and the bathroom was a good size.

Pros: Amazing central location! The room was very clean and comfortable. Our host Alba was very friendly and gave us great local recommendations. Would definitely stay again!
