La Terrazza su Dante Rooms

Pros: Allesandro is very welcoming and explains everything in detail. Kitchen is available for coffee and tea 24/7. Very clean! About a 15 minute walk to the centre through a street with nice shops.

Wonderful Palermo experience

Pros: Our Host was very nice and organized our Airport Transport. He had many suggestions which you could load to your phone. Everything was very uncomplicated. The room was very clean. Dante street leads right to City Center as described. We had a very nice stay!

Cons: Breakfast was not available, but we got a very good Price at the café nearby.

Pros: Alessandro was wonderful. He was there when we arrived late at night and showed us our rooms. All the rooms were clean, stylish and modern with a fridge and private bathroom. There was free WiFi and smart TVs to watch Netflix etc. Our rooms led onto a gorgeous shared terrace area which was lovely for playing cards and having a drink with our family in the evening. There is a lift so is accessible if you have a stroller or heavy luggage. There is a shared kitchen with fridge and coffee machine, cutlery etc. My 4 year old took very unwell unexpectedly and Alessandro booked taxis for us to a hospital and explained the whole process for being triaged. He even dropped into the hospital as we were there for a long time, to check on how we were doing. He was a life saver! It was a wonderful trip and truly well-kept apartments. It felt very self-sufficient and quiet. I would definitely stay there again!

Cons: I loved it all but I suppose it's worth noting that the location is quite far up Via Dante and is a bit of a walk down to the main historical centre if you have small children or are not a fan of walking. But there is a gorgeous restaurant across the road with fun novelty ice cream and a supermarket right next door to La Terraza. It's worth noting that at the time we stayed the breakfast was in a cafe next door and not a buffet style continental breakfast in the B&B. It was still included in the price and had the typical Italian breakfast items. Alessandro also did the breakfast in La Terraza on the Sunday when the cafe was closed so we did experience it one day which was lovely.

Winderful place

Pros: I highly recommend this property. This is a truly wonderful place. The rooms are immaculate, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable. One of the property’s greatest highlights is the stunning terrace available to guests – the views from there are absolutely breathtaking. Choosing the breakfast option was an excellent decision. The coffee is outstanding, and the fresh pastries are delicious. The owner is exceptionally kind and welcoming. On our first day, he shared detailed information about the city and pointed out the best places to visit, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend this property for a holiday in Palermo. It’s a delightful place, and I will certainly return.

Pros: Very clean and beautiful rooms and very friendly staff. Great rooms and a good location! The host Alessandro was very welcoming and made us feel truly at home!

Superb

Pros: The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The communal areas and kitchen were well maintained and fully equipped. The building is beautifully restored, and the location is quiet but still within easy reach of the center. A very pleasant stay overall.

Overall an amazing stay and lovely owner

Pros: Amazing stay. The place is like a hybrid of a B&B and a hotel. The facilities were great. The owner Alessandro was a delight and gave me plenty of recommendations. He also told me where to buy a pistachio cornetto and asked his friends shop to put one aside for me.

Cons: You need to read up on the public transport system or be prepared to walk 20 minutes to get to the centre of town. This wasn’t an issue for me as I’m young, but older people should be aware.

Very enjoyable visit to Palermo.

Pros: The breakfast was fine. Location is a little way from historic center, but we knew that when we booked.

Cons: We loved everything. The only downside was the lack of a long mirror. Ladies like to see how they look before they go out!

Our stay in Palermo

Pros: The room was lovely, spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The shared terrace was really nice and it was good to watch the world go by, as we did one evening. Our host Alessandro was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Cons: There was not much that we disliked. There was no tea and coffee in our room, which would have been a nice touch. The room lacked a long mirror. Also a couple of comfortable chairs would be a nice addition.

Highly recommended

Pros: We had a warm welcome from the owner who has been always very kind and helpful for any questions/demands during our stay. The staff was great and the room clean and very comfortable. The location is quite strategic to move around town and in/out from the main airport and Palermo’ surroundings.
