Relaxed and beautiful

Beautiful place

Pros: Friendly staff. Very beautiful farm with a pool and the dinner was wonderful.

Cons: The WiFi wasn’t working well, even TV we couldn't watch anything. Breakfast was lack of savoury for 12 euro per person.

Great place to stay with family.

Pros: Spacious grounds and buildings. Free parking on site. Has a pool which was great in this hot weather. Room was huge and comfortable and had its own outdoor space with seating. Close to the beach and restaurant. Railway station was close for access to Palermo. Staff offered to drop us off at railway station in Casteldaccia. Suggest don’t drive into Palermo!

Pros: The property itself is stunning – spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed. Each room was tastefully decorated, blending comfort with elegance. The layout was ideal for both relaxation and socializing, with plenty of communal spaces as well as quiet corners for privacy.

Fairytale historical mansion in the lemon groves!

Pros: Stunning place that makes you feel like you're in a fairytale! I loved walking amidst the citrus orchards picking fruit. Although close to the city, you feel secluded and close to nature. The service was excellent and staff very friendly. The spa was also world class and has a sauna, steam room and hot tub right next to each other. Highly recommend visiting and booking the spa! It's very affordable too. Breakfast and restaurant is excellent.

Beautiful setting with a few minor niggles

Pros: Very smart farm with great pool with its own bar and large sun lounger area. Smart restaurant and courtyard area. Room accessed from large terrace overlooking lemon and olive trees. Large comfortable room with very high ceiling, giving plenty of space for heat to rise. Warm welcome when we arrived. The farm is used for weddings, christenings and first confirmation celebrations: it's very photogenic.

Cons: The room had no WiFi, so we had to go to specific areas to get it. The room was next to the railway which is on a high embankment, although to be fair the trains didn't disturb us much. There were a couple of lizards on the very high ceiling; perhaps they ate any mosquitoes that got into the room, but there were several biters on the terrace. There was a wide choice of pizzas on the menu, but we were very unimpressed by them. The other choices were fine. The waiter seemed upset if we didn't order more than one course, bottled water and wine; and when we did order wine by the glass he tried hard to get us to change to a bottle, which we didn't want. Breakfast had run out the first day we went half way through the advertised times it was meant to be available.

Pros: The room was delightful and the restaurant was fabulous. The owner himself gave us a lift to the station and allowed us to leave our car on the premises while we went to Palermo. Couldn’t fault it.
