B&B Talìa

Beautiful property in a very pretty town with great facilities. Wonderful host, and a lovely stay.

Pros: Wonderful room with a balcony, giving exceptionally beautiful views of the bay. Very comfortable, and with all the facilities we could reasonably want. The host was exceptionally friendly, provided very good advice on local facilities, and delivered a very nice breakfast each morning. The hotel is located in the heart of the pretty old town, and there are many very good restaurants and bars just a few minutes walk away. There are several beaches and coves within 15 minutes walking distance, all very nice. We also enjoyed climbing the nearby hills to get to some breath-taking views also. Car parking was free and easy a few minutes walk from the property.

Cons: Only minor downside was our initial arrival at the property. This is a B&B, remotely managed, and it was all dark/locked when we arrived. We could not access the property. Perhaps we had missed out on an email with instructions on collecting the keys, but ultimately it took a few phone calls to be able to reach the host and be informed where the keys are securely kept.

Better than in the pictures.

Pros: The rooms are spacious and comfortable, there is a feeling of being at home, breakfast is served on the terrace, under a leafy olive tree and the view is breathtaking: the best in the village.

Pros: The breakfast was lovely but everyone was giving a sweet breakfast by default. A savoury breakfast which was excellent had to be requested the day before

Cons: We tried to get to Scopello by bus and messaged the host about this and got no response. There is no bus to Scopello and being dropped off in a nearby town on a Saturday afternoon with nobody around was very stressful. Thankfully the but driver got us a taxi to Scopello for £30. However our host was very helpful on our departure and the private driver was only £ 20

Pros: We stayed for several nights. The view is stunning and the host very kind and helpful. She gave us tips about local beaches and activities. Her homemade banana bread was amazing! Nice and clean room. Overall a really nice and relaxing vibe. I would recommend this place to all my friends!

Pros: The breakfast may have been my second favorite part of my trip (second to the stunning beaches). Talia was very kind and attentive. The pictures on Booking.com don’t do this place justice. We just had the most amazing time there. 100% recommend.

A lovely, authentic stay in incredible Scopello!

Pros: Even more beautiful than it looked online! One of our favourite stays so far. Loved the view, location, gorgeous town, huge homemade breakfast, Madhu's lovely warm energy, comfortable beds and sea breeze from the balcony and windows. Highly recommend!

Cons: Nothing!

Absolutely fabulous. If ever we return to Scopello we would definitely choose to stay here again.

Pros: Very quaint. Immaculately clean. Delicious homemade breakfast out on the terrace overlooking the coast. Very friendly hostess, Madhu. Large room with balcony and lovely bathroom with powerful shower.

Pros: We loved the location close to the beautiful town square and also a short walk to the beach. Madhu was a wonderful host, preparing us a delicious breakfast each day and making us feel like it was our home. She is a very talented artist too, we loved her watercolor paintings!

Cons: The location, the cute decor and the incredible view. We also loved the terrace over looking the sea and the close proximity to everything. It was actually much more beautiful than we we prepared for!
