Ballarò Guest House

Can't be faulted..

Pros: Clean, comfortable beds, good shower, close to the train station, walkable to all sights and a great savoury and sweet Italian breakfast prepared by Andreas, who chatted to us while doing so. Andreas was prompt in all communication. The guest house has 3 beautifully decorated bedrooms, complete with original tiles, a guest sitting area, and a kitchen and balcony guests can use.

Cons: The building is old, but don't be put off.

Great location: beside train and bus stations

Pros: Great location, 5min walk to Palermo Centrale train and bus station, was easy to walk and catch train or bus to airport. Close to where street market starts but far enough so don't hear noise. Had access to common fridge, kitchen and outside balcony area shown in pictures.

Cons: There are a few stairs to go up but there is an elevator.

Friendly, beautifully modernised oasis of calm in a convenient location.

Pros: Very friendly staff, everything was spotless. The room was very spacious, the bed and pillows were very comfy. Shower room modern and large Breakfast on the terrace was lovely. Handy for train station and city sights. Don’t be put off by the exterior appearance, it’s an oasis inside!

Cons: Nothing, given its location there was a bit of noise from outside at times, which is to be expected but nothing that woke me up.

Pros: friendly host and a good breakfast. centrally located

Pros: Early check-in and very friendly communication before the arrive. Location near the Palermo main station and city centre was great!

Cons: Small noice from the street during the night.

Pros: Everything was very clean, late check-in was possible, the staff were very polite, and in the morning they offered a delicious breakfast

Pros: Andrea is excellent and hospitable, he helps with advice every day. It is really pleasant to stay in the accommodation which is beautiful and clean.

Pros: The room is lovely, very clean and has lots of spaces. It is really close to the train station which was what we wanted. The host Andrea kindly welcomed us when we arrived. Breakfast was great too. Overall, very good value for money and highly recommended.

Utterly superb value

Pros: So comfortable, easy walk to anything. Andrea is a lovely host. Bathroom lovely, bed excellent. Breakfast was a delicious assortment of pastries.

Exemplary hosting in gorgeous accommodation in heart of wonderful hectic and vibrant Palermo.

Pros: Our host Andrea and his wife and family have created a beautiful gem of a Guest House in the heart of the frenetic city of Palermo. It feels like a home from home. The interior design room and decoration is stunning. The facilities were excellent and it even smells lovely. Don't be fooled by the rustic entrance and noisy colourful area, once you enter the guest house it is a real haven of comfort. It was a highlight to have breakfast on the gorgeous patio area and have home made delicacies as made by Andrea's family who also run a restaurant. Andrea's was such a fabulously friendly, kind and helpful host who we looked forward to chatting with and went over and above to help us. Him and his family are the perfect example of hospitality at its best. We loved it.
